West agreed with him on that point, and after high school, they both went to flight school.

Having his best friend in the same classes helped.

He and West worked hard to get where they were, and they graduated from flight school after they finished their hours.

And they both took the test for their commercial license.

It was a little nerve-wracking, but they both passed with flying colors as they had studied for months and often used the flight simulator together.

They got a job with the same company and started flying together.

Bo loved that he made people happy by doing his job.

For taking them to the places, they longed to see.

He signed up to fly internationally, and those long flights were hard after a while, but he loved everything about it.

He often missed his family and wished he could bring Aria to see the world as he could.

He knew that she would love it.

Bo also wondered if it was finally time for him to settle down, but each woman that crossed his path was nothing more than a fleeting thought.

He never even looked twice, though he knew many of the other pilots and some of the flight attendants hooked up when they landed.

They were together enough that it made sense, but he never did.

The girls tried to flirt with him, but he shut it down while he was kind about it.

He didn’t want some quick thing with a girl he didn’t know. He wantedhisgirl and the kind of love his parents had.

Love that it was meant for more than just a quick fling in a hotel room for the weekend.

He saw the results of that. Saw how many marriages and relationships broke apart for that reason.

He didn’t want that, and the flight attendants quickly learned to give him a wide berth.

They called him the Ice King when they didn’t think he was listening because he was cold to everyone but his co-pilot and usually even then.

Unless he and West flew together, which was rare, he didn’t want to give anyone the time.

West was much the same with the girls, and he knew it drove them nuts.

They were beautiful girls, but they did nothing for him, and he asked West once how he felt about it, and West said, “I wish they would see that I didn’t want anything to do with them. I’m kind to them, sure. It makes life easier to be nice, but they don’t take no for an answer. And I have had to stop being so kind.”

Bo nodded, “I did the same the first time one of them put a keycard into my hand and told me what room she was in.”

West chuckled, “Most of the men wouldn’t hesitate. Married or not. Why do we?”

Bo shrugged, “I want more out of life.”

West grinned, “Same.”

After that conversation, Bo thought long and hard about it.

He knew he didn’t want to deviate from his goal and from what he wanted out of life.

He knew that people thought he was strange, but he didn’t give a single fuck. He got this far in life with his single-minded focus and finding the girl of his dreams would be the same.
