“I know. I wasn’t planning on falling for her either, -not that I had any idea about any of this,- but she is mine. I will do what I can to keep her safe from harm. I won’t let anything touch her.”

John nodded again, “I need to call Will. He will want to hear this. I bet he will be here in a few minutes. Do you have some time?”

Bo nodded, “I do.”

John pulled his phone out of his pocket, calling Will, “I need you to come over to my house. Right now if you have the time.”

Bo couldn’t hear Will on the other end, but John let out a small breath of relief and then said, “Thank you. It’s urgent. I wouldn’t have called if it were anything otherwise.”

He hung up the phone, “You better eat a little before he gets here. I have a feeling that it won’t be pretty.”

Bo ate a little, “Do you think Jet and his team need to be here as well? What if they could help? I want to make sure all the bases are covered.”

John looked up at him, “I never thought of that. They could be a huge asset.”

Bo pulled his phone out, calling Jet once more, and when Jet answered, he said, “Having second thoughts about your girl? Or do you need advice on how to make her come?”

Bo growled, “I don’t need help with that. Thanks though. Fucking hell you are an asshole.”

Jet laughed, “I have to keep you on your toes somehow little brother.”

Bo pinched the bridge of his nose, “I need your help.”

The laughter died in Jet’s throat, “What do you need?”

John gestured to him, “Put the phone on speaker.”

Bo did just that, and John said, “We need some help with you and your crew.”

“Tell me what you need.”

“You, Crew, Scout, and Steele need to come to the house. We have an issue I need your expertise on.”

“We will be there in half an hour.”

Bo sat back in his chair, looking at his plate of food that suddenly made him sick just looking at.

He could only pray that Avery’s dad wouldn’t do anything stupid.

Although he knew from experience that rich men who thought they had nothing to lose would go to any lengths to do what they had to.

He had seen it once when he was getting ready to fly. A man had bought a ticket to anywhere, trying to stop his girl from leaving the state.

He had tried to kidnap her and snuck some chloroform into a small water bottle, but it didn’t work as quickly as people assumed, and she started to freak out when she knew who was behind her.

He threw her over his shoulder but didn’t get far before people stopped him, and he was arrested.

Bo knew the woman was shaken. He overheard her tell someone that the man was a stalker, was obsessed with her, and had already tried to hurt her once.

He was rich and had connections that allowed him to keep finding her.

She was finally leaving the state to get away from him, and this had happened.

Bo felt for the woman, and he hated that she had been that scared.

That she had to pick up her entire life and move to a new place to get away from men that wouldn’t take no for an answer.

He didn’t want that to happen to Avery.
