She smirked at him after the kiss and slid out of his truck, making him groan.
“I love you trouble. You know that right?”
She nodded, “I know.”
Then she walked inside her salon and texted her mom, and her mom was curious but was okay to meet with Bo and hear what he had to say.

When Bo picked her up after work, she was nervous and excited at the same time.
He pulled her into his arms, kissing her. “I missed you.”
She smiled up at him, “I missed you too. I’m nervous about what you have to say. Is it bad?”
Bo looked down at her, “I promise you will get answers. Okay?”
She nodded, staying quiet as he drove across town to a beautiful home, set back a little ways from the road.
It had a large front porch with a plush swing hanging on one end and a white railing circling it.
The house itself was painted navy blue and had white shutters.
She fell in love with it, “Whose house is this?”
Bo smiled at her, “This is my parents house. I grew up here.”
Avery shook her head, “I have seen this house before and remember loving it.”
Bo grinned, “Well, it’s going to be in your future now. My parents are both excited to meet you, as are my brother, his wife, and my sister.”
She bit her lip, and then a slow smile spread across her face, “I’m ready.”
He helped her out of his truck, then laced their fingers together, leading her up to the door, knocking lightly, before walking in.
She moved toward him a little bit, anxious.
They walked inside and were immediately intercepted by a few men in the living room.
They were all huddled around a small table, that had a bunch of papers around it and they turned to look at who walked in.
She knew immediately which one was Bo’s brother as they looked almost the same, but this man kept his hair short and had a neat beard and Bo was clean-shaven and had longer hair.
Bo’s brother, Jet, walked over to them, “You must be Avery. We have heard a lot about you.”
Avery looked up at Bo in confusion, then back to Jet, “Uh. Thank you. I guess since we just met yesterday, I didn’t assume there was much to be told. But, I’m guessing I’m wrong on that front?”
Jet grinned, making her smile softly in return as he reminded her a lot of Bo.
“She is great. I like it.”
Avery sobered a little and someone knocked on the door, and a man that Avery had seen several times was standing outside.
One of the men that had been talking with Jet stepped away and opened the door.
The man that Avery had seen a few times before when she and Aynsley would go out to eat or spend time shopping was there.
She never forgot a face and he always looked so kind, and he always seemed to be laser-focused on her mom.
