He looked at her, “You know where. I am on edge baby. Hearing that someone could hurt you pushed me right to it.”

Hearing everything in that room was too much for him.
Knowing that his girl could be in danger rubbed him wrong.
He drove as quickly as he dared to his apartment, looking over at Avery.
“Are you all right?”
She bit her lip, “I don’t know. I knew my dad wasn’t the best person, but hearing that he wants to possibly hurt me and my mom? For nothing we did is hard for me. I just don’t want to believe it.”
He knew how she felt, “I know baby. I know. I don’t want to believe it either.”
She looked over at him, “I need you to make me forget.”
His eyebrows raised, “I am at your service.”
He parked in the underground garage, lifting her into his arms, bridal style.
She held onto his neck, kissing him there are she did.
He tilted his head out of the way, letting her kiss his skin.
As soon as the elevator opened, he leaned back against the wall, “Give me those lips.”
Avery lifted her head, kissing him as she threaded her fingers in his hair.

The elevator stopped at his floor, causing them to break away.

They stumbled through the door when Bo got it open, causing them to break apart.
He shut the door behind them, “Get naked. Right now.”
She pulled her shirt over her head, as he did the same, then shoved her pants down her legs after kicking her shoes off.
