Vincenzo shook his head and Elio nodded, “There you go.”

Vincenzo took a deep breath, “I just want her to be mine.”

Gio snorted, “She already is. I have never seen a girl so wrapped in someone like she is with you.”

Vincenzo grinned, “She is, isn’t she?”

Gio snorted again, “You are so much worse than she is though.”

Vincenzo shrugged, “And I don’t even care.”

Gio laughed, “Good. I like her.”

Elio nodded, “Me too. She is good for you.”

Vincenzo smiled, “She is.”

A knock sounded on the door and Vincenzo opened it, and his mom was smiling up at them, “It’s time.”

He almost ran from the room, but she shook her head, “Calm.”

He took a deep breath and slowly walked toward the front of the chapel, and waited as Elio walked down the aisle with Harper’s little sister Jenna, and Gio walked down the aisle with Elena.

Then, both moms walked together, holding hands.

Over the last month, Jackie and Lucia became good friends, talking daily and wanting to show this support for them.

They hugged each other and sat down on opposite sides of the aisle as the priest asked everyone to stand.

The crowd did so, and the wedding march played as Harper and Joey started to walk down the aisle.

Vincenzo couldn’t have torn his gaze from Harper if someone tried to.

She was wearing a long white dress. It had long lace sleeves and the lace covered the rest of the dress and nipped in her waist with a belt that had a small rhinestone in the middle of it.

The dress was tight to her until it flared out at her knees and her hair was down, floating around her and she wore a long veil that covered her hair.

She was the most stunning woman he had ever seen, and her hazel eyes sparkled at him.

He knew his jaw was hanging open and he shut it slowly, then mouthed, “You are beautiful.”

She grinned, making her even more beautiful when it lit her up from the inside out and he knew he was the luckiest bastard on the planet.

Joey kissed her cheek, and she hugged him gently as he went to where Jackie was sitting.

Ryker held the rings and waited by Jenna.

Vincenzo focused on his bride, unable to hear the priest as he spoke until he was asked to say his vows.

“Cara. Mybella. You have held my heart in your hands since we were children, and you did not even know it. You were always the girl for me, and I never wavered in that choice. I knew you were meant to be mine. I love you more today than I did yesterday, and I know I will love you more tomorrow than I did today. You are my everything. My world. And I hope to give you just that. The world. Anything you ask of me, I will give. I love you.”

She smiled as he lifted her hand to his lips and kissed it.

“Vincenzo. You were the only person in the world who I trusted. My only friend. You gave me safety and security and we hadn’t even met yet. I knew you were going to be someone important in my life from the first letter and I am so glad I got your letter. It was fate. Meant to be. As you said, I was always meant to be yours. And you were always meant to be mine. I love you. I thank the fates that you claimed me as yours all those years ago. I believed it then and believe it still.”

He kissed her hand again, and they put the rings on, then he was able to kiss her as his bride.

She was officially his. Forever.
