He turned and looked deep into my eyes. “Lumi told me to go for it, and that now is my chance.”
I swallowed, not sure what to say.
Stepping closer, Atlas let his fingertips run down my neck and deepened his voice. “He did that on purpose, you know. The wolf.”
“What, the hickeys?”
“He wanted to mark you as his. To claim you.”
I licked my lips, my body tingling with sexual energy. “Did he now?”
“Uh-huh.” Atlas pulled me closer with his arms around my waist. “Remember when you told me to let him out to play?”
I nodded.
“How about we find a quiet place and see what happens?”
I tilted my head, noticing that Atlas still didn’t accept his sexuality. “You want to play?”
He flashed his teeth in a smile and tightened his hold on me. “I want to snap my fingers and have you in my apartment without any family around. This house has thin walls. But I could show you some of the beautiful nature here in Ireland…” His nose was close to mine, and the flirtatious energy between us made my pulse race.
“Are you going to take me to a forest and play the big bad wolf?”
He gave a low growl and kissed my neck. “Did you bring a red riding hood?” His charming grin and the excitement in his brown eyes was a welcome change from last night when I walked into his bedroom and found him in a state of defeat.
“I’m afraid all I have is a red scarf.” I had only just spoken the words when a fat raindrop fell on my hand. We both looked up to see dark clouds rolling in.
“Hmm, we might have to stay in the car, or we could go to a hotel somewhere,” Atlas muttered.
I wrinkled my nose up. “Or we could just hang out in your room for a while and start slow.”
“Here?” He frowned.
“Yes. Did you ever bring a girl home when you lived here?”
“No. This was always more of a vacation place to me since I moved to the US when I was sixteen.”
“Good!” I rose to my toes and kissed him. “Then, let’s pretend we’re teenagers and sneak past your siblings to your room.”
Atlas raised an eyebrow. “No! If we’re staying here, I want Nathan to see that I’m taking you to my room. He’s been way too flirtatious with you.”
“Because he thought we had a professional relationship. You are still my boss, after all.”
Atlas placed his hand on the small of my back and led me to the house.
“What’s with that smirk on your face?” I asked in a playful tone.
“I just thought of how hot it will be when you call me boss while I fuck you.”
CHAPTER 21
First Time
Atlas
“You’re only my boss at work,” Jolene said for the third time as I closed the door behind us and locked it. “You told me not to mention it when it was just the two of us. You know, because we’re friends.”
She was nervous and a bit stiff. I didn’t blame her. After I’d shared some of my fantasies with her, it was a fucking wonder that she was even here.
