I shake my head. “Never.”

Though his brows knit, he just drops his forehead to mine. “Well, I don’t know how or why, but you love me.”

With a groan, he kisses me again, holding me to him. His body pulses inside me and I gasp against his lips.

His chuckle is all male. “Baby girl, you keep that up and we won’t leave this cell.”

I blink blearily and try to glower. “Then don’t kiss me.”

He snorts. “Yeah. Don’t expect me to stop kissing you, Amoret.” Warmth shoots through my body and my heart gives a delighted stutter. “But for right now, we need to get the hell out of here.”
