The quiet thrums in my ears. They both appraise me in that calm way they have. These are women who have tamed vampires and shifters.

Not tamed. Because men that strong can never be tamed. They cannot be broken. But Nisha and Lilah are strong enough to stand with them. To be their equal. Their mates.
