“What do you think?” I asked Caterina. This was one of my favorite pieces. Caterina inspected the painting, scrunching her nose and cocking her head to the side like she was a critic in a museum. I knew she was joking. “Caterina,” I whined. “Just tell me.”

“Fine. Fine, you win.” She kissed my cheek. “I love it. I also might be biased since I’m pretty sure that’s me between your thighs, bellissima. Your work is breathtaking. I’ve seen you grow in the last few months not only as an artist, but as a person.” Caterina pulled me up with my palette still in my hand, and I dipped my hand in my red paint with a mischievous smirk as she leaned in to kiss me. I swiped my fingers across her cheek, smearing the paint and laughing at the horrified look on her face. “Harlow!”

I laughed as she wiped the paint off her cheek, smearing it more. She dipped her hand into the palette, getting her fingers coated in paint before flicking her fingers and splattering a rainbow on me. “You declared war, baby.”

She grabbed a couple of opened tubes, squeezing color onto her hands and lunging toward me. I shrieked, ducking behind my easel as paint came flying down. Globs of it got into my hair, as I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. Caterina grabbed me, smearing the remnants of the paint onto my arms and chest. She brought me to the ground, smearing the paint as I attacked her with what paint I had on my palette until the two of us were coated. With one final move, I rubbed the remainder of the painton my hands like I was washing them and cupped her breasts with a smirk. I removed my hands with a satisfied grin. Her breasts seemed to be my favorite target.

“Mine.”

Caterina leaned forward slightly, brushing my hair out of my face. “You got something here,” she said as her thumb brushed my lower lip. And then she leaned in.

Our lips met in a soft kiss. I could taste the slightly bitter, rubbery paint mingling on our tongues, but it didn’t stop either one of us. Caterina deepened the kiss, devouring my lips as she pulled me into her arms and onto her lap. When I was on her lap, I felt the concoction of paint seeping into my clothes, but that was a problem for us later. Right now, I had the woman I loved. Caterina wrapped her arms around me as we explored each other's mouths. It didn’t matter how many times I kissed her; I loved every moment of it. We shifted more and Caterina pulled me further onto her lap, and I took the opportunity to tangle my fingers into her hair. My hips moved against her as her hands found my ass and squeezed tightly. I didn’t want anything else…yet. I just wanted her and this. Our lips painted a picture that words could never describe, and it was my favorite form of art.

She pulled away from me, our chest heaving as she nipped my bottom lip. “You’re dangerous, bellissima.”

“You love it.” I kissed her lips once more, this time quick and soft. “You taste like an art project.”

She brushed my hair from my face, and I could feel the flecks of dried paint on my face. “Now I have to tell Moira about this. She’s not going to be happy that you murdered the bedroom. We just got all the flour out of the kitchen.”

I lifted my head and looked around the room. There was paint everywhere. “Hey, you could’ve just accepted it, but you decided to have a war. I defended myself.”

“You covered me in paint, bellissima.”She laughed. “I have your handprints on my tits.”

“I think I’m going to make it my new signature. Oh, let me do it without the shirt.”

Caterina rolled her eyes. “You just want me naked, don’t you?”

“Is that a trick question?” I giggled. “So does this mean we’ll have a long shower? Naked. Wet. Soapy.”

“Get your cute ass to my bedroom, now. I think it’s time for me to show you my form of art.”

Yes, ma’am.

Our shower took longer than both of us expected. Not because of the paint caked onto our bodies, but because of the number of orgasms I begged for. I never expected paint to turn into live erotic art that led to a two-hour sex fest in Caterina’s shower, but I wasn't complaining. I had to kick her out to thoroughly clean the paint from my hair without being distracted.

When I got out of the shower and walked into the hallway, I heard Moira yelling at Caterina in Italian. Caterina looked at me with a wink before Moira glanced my way. “I’m sorry for the mess. We got carried away.”

Moira grumbled under her breath, but smiled at me. “You are lucky you’re my favorite.”

Caterina feigned shock and covered her chest with her hand. “I am insulted. I sign your checks.”

“Your father does that,” she corrected.

Caterina laughed, walking toward me. “I’ll make sure he gives you a bonus.” She kissed my cheek. “Let’s get you some food.”

Antonio made homemade meatloaf and the best mashed potatoes I had ever had. Caterina laughed at me as I had mini foodgasms. “I’m going to marry your chef.”

“And then I’ll have to find a new one.” Caterina smiled, wiping my lip. “Because mine will be a chew toy for Lucifer and Titus.”

“Lucky for him, I love you.”

She put her finger under my chin and lifted my head. “I love you. When you are done eating, we can go to the house and see the boys.”

CHAPTER 56

Caterina

Lucifer chasedthe ball across the yard as Titus stayed by Harlow’s side. When Harlow was with me, the vicious killers I raised turned into docile puppies, but I knew if anyone attempted to harm her, they would attack. They loved Harlow just like I did, but I thought my wife loved my dogs more than me.
