“Rap?What did you do?” Blade’s voice came from the other end of the line. Blade was one of Raptor’s older brothers, and he had shown up at Nood’s Good a few times with his mate and family. His mate, Joey, had stolen a baby from some kidnappers not too long ago.
“Some cleaning up. I may or may not have a body.”
Blade sighed loudly. “Really?”
“Hey! It’s a win-win-win! It’s someone from Walren’s past that had to go. His parts will be sold to people who need them. And I get compensated for the damage he did to my properties.”
Surprisingly, Blade’s sigh turned into a contemplative sound.
“I knew he could be convinced,” Raptor whispered to Walren.
“I hope you have a good reason why he’s dead,” Blade said.
“Self-defense. Although he brought along some goons andtheymay or may not be dead. Hmm. Icouldsell their parts too.”
“Don’t kill the ones who are still alive,” Blade said. “Guess I’ll see you in a bit.”
“I was gonna go home to celebrate!”
“You can celebrate after. Sit your scaly ass down for a minute.”
Blade cut the line.
“I love my brother, but he’s such a pain in the butt sometimes,” Raptor grumbled.
“You called him because he’s the cop who will give you the least trouble over this,” Walren pointed out.
Raptor made a rude sound. His knot was going down, though, which was a good thing. Walren didn’t like being knotted in such a public place.
“I think we’ve had enough sex for one night,” he said.
“I agree,” Raptor replied. “That was... not something I had ever done before.”
“Really?”
“I was cursed only a few years ago. There haven’t been many fights since, and there are even fewer people who would hop on my knot at a moment’s notice.” The alpha nuzzled Walren’s hair. “Much less wield a cleaver toprotect me.Fuck, sweetheart.”
“I didn’t want you to get hurt,” Walren mumbled.
Raptor hugged Walren and pressed kisses wherever he could reach.
After a while, Raptor slid out of Walren in a rush of friction. Walren whimpered; he never liked the sudden emptiness inside him.
Raptor tidied up their clothes. Then he slipped his fingers between Walren’s cheeks, pushing his leaking cum back into Walren’s hole.
“There we go,” he murmured, kissing Walren’s temple. “Back where it belongs.”
Walren blushed. “No one will believe we fought off the bad guys while we were knotted.”
“What can I say? Reality is stranger than fiction.”
Walren was about to settle in for a nap when Raptor perked up.
“I know! Why don’t we look for my missing present?”
“I still don’t know where it is,” Walren groaned.
“We’ll find it,” Raptor said confidently. “It will show up with the power of love!”
