“Good. Don’t be ashamed to use it if you want to stop everything. If you don’t like spanking, there are lots of other things we can try, and if you don’t like any of it, that’s all right too. We’re mates no matter what, and we’ll find other hobbies.”
It wasn’t a hobby, but I was trying to lighten the moment.
The bench loomed under the beam of light from the ceiling as were all the stations unless otherwise requested. Anyone who was playing on the main floor did it with the knowledge that anyone in the club could watch. The DM’s offer to keep them back was a courtesy to me, and in awareness of it being Everly’s first time. The players were either exhibitionists or just didn’t care if anyone was watching.
Everly wasn’t sure how he’d feel about that, but he’d confided that he’d been turned on—as if I couldn’t tell—when I gave him his tour, so he wanted “the full experience.”
“Time to strip down, omega.”
“All the way? Now?” he squeaked.
“Up to you. Would you rather try it the first time in your undershorts? You wouldn’t be the first one.”
He leaned in close to me. “I didn’t wear any.”
“Why not?”
“I wanted to be brave.”
Gathering him in my arms, I brushed my lips over his hair and spoke low. “When you faced every one of those dom club owners and told them what you’d done and how you’d fixed it? That took more courage than I’ve ever seen. Omega, you’re brave. You’ll either want to do it or you won’t. None of it reflects on your bravery.”
He leaned back in my embrace. “You’re right, alpha. Let’s do this thing.”
I would have helped him undress, but my formerly grumpy omega was now lionhearted, pulling off all his clothes and tossing them on the floor. Normally, that kind of messiness was a problem, but for tonight, I’d sooner rip off my own arm than say one word that would steal any of his confidence. And the DM, after meeting my eye, nodded and let it go as well.
When I strapped him down—waist belt, hand and foot cuffs lined with fur, the shape of the bench had his bottom upthrust, ready for whatever I wanted to do.
“Safe word?”
“Avocado.”
And it was time to begin. I’d spanked others before, when in a relationship with that person, or with a single omega if I was not. I’d never been nervous—until now.
But as I rubbed the skin on his firm ass, warming it, then began to spank, I sank into the moment as well. He lay still at first then groaned and moved, thrusting his butt higher, welcoming the caress. First one cheek then the other, rhythmic smacks that grew harder, thecracksthe ASMR of the club. Music always played in the background but never loud enough that those who stood near a station couldn’t hear the sounds of the play going on.
My palm stung; Everly’s cheeks reddened. Handprints crossed one another until I noticed a fine tremor in his limbs and released him from his bonds.
He looked up at me as I lifted him free, gathered his discarded clothes, and led him to one of the chairs off the main floor where an alpha could perform aftercare. “Did I do good, alpha?”
“Omega, you were the best. Did you like it?”
“It hurt, but I did. Is that weird?”
I cuddled him on my lap and offered him a bottle of water. “It’s just as it should be.”
“Oh good. Because I want to do it again. Do you have a flogger?”
“I have a whole toy bag.” Which I’d left by the station when I decided only hand spanking tonight. “I’ll let you look through it and see what strikes your fancy.”
Chapter Twenty
Everly
“Are you sure about this?” I asked, standing with Fraser in a place I’d never been. It was only a few hours out of the city limits, but it was dark and abandoned. Like a hidden gem of forest and land where I thought there was nothing but more and more city.
“I run here all the time. Doesn’t your wolf want to get acquainted with mine?”
Instead of answering, I unbuttoned my shirt. Things had changed in the best ways possible since being with Fraser. With his encouragement, I had quit my job in favor of finding something that didn’t feel like trudging through the mud every day. It was a benefit of Sadie selling the house and having a part of my father’s estate, but I wouldn’t tell her that—wouldn’t give her the satisfaction.
