Handy since we like making messes.

There’s a dull thump from outside the door. Then another smaller one before there’s a crisp knock on our bedroom.

“Elena, is Dad in there?” Cynthia’s voice carries in.

“Yep,” I call back as I tuck my dick into my pants.

With one last kiss to Elena’s sweet lips, I fetch her shorts for her and hand them off as she darts to the bathroom.

“How was school?” I’m impressed with myself that I can talk normally so soon after loosing a load.

But my knees are still shaky, so I do my best to hide it by fetching two glasses of water. The counter is a handy brace.

“Good. I got my schedule changed so I could take the pencil art class for second period. It just means math is at the end of the day now,” she groans and flops into the kitchen chair.

Sliding one of the drinks to her, I sit opposite and stretch out my weak legs.

Elena is a better workout than any treadmill.

“That sounds great. What kind of stuff are they working on in that class?” I glance up when Elena comes in.

How does she look so innocent with my cum in her ass?

Fuck. The thought makes my cock twitch already.

“Still life. So it’s super easy for me.” Cynthia rocks her head with a smirk. “And grandpa has been giving me some tips on animals. I guess that section is next.”

“Hopefully your teacher can find a challenge for you.” My limbs are still fuzzy as I finish my water.

“So, what’s the trailer for on the back of your truck?” Cynthia blinks at me over the rim of her cup.

I give in to the chuckle. “That’s your grandpa’s. We’re meeting him at Black Gulch in a little while.”

“Really?” She wiggles in her chair.

“Yes, really?” Elena parrots her, but her brows furrow as she looks at me over her sister’s head.

I hold up my palms in surrender. “For the record, this isn’t my idea, but he insists every kid needs a horse.”To say that my daughter’s shriek of excitement is deafening would be an understatement.

Still laughing, I gesture towards her room. “You better go change into something you can get filthy. He’s gonna make sure you pet each one so you’re comfortable with them.”

As Cynthia skips away, Elena slides onto my lap and wraps her arms around my neck. “Is this a crazy idea?”

“Nah. Gives Dad a purpose. He won’t let her near a horse that isn’t safe. Back when he was a sheriff, he did almost all of his patrols on the trail. Mom was a hell of a rider too and would go with him often.” Maybe Cynthia will inherit some of that along with Mom’s red hair?

When Cynthia comes back, she’s changed into a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. “By the way, I did this.” She offers me a sketch before she sits down to put on her shoes. “That’s the guy, as best as I can remember.”

Dark hair and eyes, with a mottled cheek with scars running down towards his mouth.

It looks a bit like Max, but also could pass for Cade, if they had the injuries to match.

Whoever this is should be easy to identify once I can find him.

“This is incredibly helpful, thank you.” I tuck her drawing into my pocket, then pat Elena on the hip. “Welp, I guess it’s time.”

Is he a robot?
