dripped sarcasm, underlain with bitter truth. They all

lived to serve. It was why they’d been spawned. None

of the most powerful gods of the Underworld could

travel Topworld at will. Including Sutekh. The greater

their power, the less mobile they were. It was a safeguard

set in place six thousand years past to ensure they didn’t

encroach on each others’ territories or the human realm.
