Once they were all around the table,Kelsey visibly relaxed.

“Dude, you’re serving usjuice?”Stink asked.

“If you were sticking aroundyou’d get beer, but seeing as you’re leaving I’m not going to spendmy night worrying about you.I’ve got many other things planned forthis evening,” Killer said, reaching out to cup the back of herneck.

She smiled at him, feeling atightening deep in her core.Killer knew what to say to make hermelt for him.

The dinner went really well.Sandy and Stinkcomplimented her food in between Killer asking questionsabout the club and life outside of the house.

Whenever Michael’s name was brought up shecouldn’t help but get nervous. She’d married a man whom she knewnothing about. Most women would laugh at her stupidity.

A couple of hours later they stoodtogether waving at their departing friends.Kelsey wished they weregoing along with them. She hated being away from Tate and FortWills. There were times she missed being a dental nurse.

Killer tugged her back into the house, kissing her neck.“We’ll be leaving soon, I guaranteeit.”

“How?How can you guaranteeit?”she asked.

He slammed the door closed and pressedher against the wall. She gasped as he tore the straps of her dressdown her shoulders.“Sandy told me you got the all clear.”Helifted her hands to rest the palms against the wall.

“Yes.”

“Good.I can’t stand youbeing in pain.”

Down the dress went landing at herfeet.Next he rid her of the bra and then her panties.“Now, it’stime for us to make up for lost time.”

“They’re in a small towncalled Paradise Rocks,” Daniel said, entering the hotel room.Michael stood feeling terror grip him.If they knew where Kelseyand Killer were living then his enemies would also know thetruth.

“How do youknow?”

“Our men followed Sandy andStink. They were not very clever in shaking them off.”Daniel heldup his cell phone showing a picture of the happy couple.

The picture was like a kick to the gut.Kelsey looked so bloody happy, and it wasn’t because of him. He’dreally thought he could get her to stay married to him.She neverargued, until recently, and he liked the idea of having a wife whowould let him do what he wanted.Michael liked variety in hiswomen.

“Arrange a meeting withthem.I want to keep them off her scent as long as possible.”Wiping ahand down his face, Michael started to panic.

Shit, fuck,shit.

Not only had Kelsey been discoveredand her name linked with his but also Alex had found out thefucking truth.Michael believed he’d buried any paperwork linkinghis name to the trafficking. It was only a matter of time beforeThe Skulls knew the truth.Maybe death would have been a better wayto end his life.

“Sir, they’re notanswering,” Daniel said.

Both men froze as the hotel’s door wasslammed open and a bleeding member of their security team wasgasping for breath.Michael recognized the young man as Ben, theone who helped to dispose of the girl shot in the head, the sameman he posted outside of Kelsey’s door.“We’ve been betrayed.Thegirls are gone.Eric and Mark are dead. They got a call, and thenext moment they started shooting.”

Ben collapsed to the floor, bleedingout.

Cursing, Michael got to the business ofgetting Ben to the hospital. It wasn’t the brightest move he made.Sitting in the hospital, Michael looked at all of his problems.Ifhe didn’t act Kelsey would be dead like a long line of girls beforeher, and if they took Killer’s life, he’d have The Skulls on hisback.

Running a hand down his face, Michaelweighed up his options.

There was no other option. The onlyway to get out of this alive was to bring The Skulls in.

“Daniel, call Tiny, theleader of The Skulls MC.It’s time for us to get somehelp.”

For Kelsey and Killer’s sake, he hopedhe wasn’t too late.
