“Yes. Fuck, yes!” She panted.
I kept my finger inside of her while I kissed the crook of her neck, then her chin and lips.
“You know I’ll give you the world, baby. You want Tank, I’ll give you Tank.”
I closed my eyes when I entered her. She still felt so damn good, and wet. She wrapped her legs around my back as I stroked her pussy.
She put her hand on my stomach, but I smacked it away.
“Nah, don’t fight it now. You wanted Tank, so you gonna take Tank.” My pumps increased faster and harder.
I made sure she came twice before I let off inside of her.
“How am I supposed to be a good host when I don’t want to do anything but go to sleep?” Lyric asked when we were finished.
I glanced at my watch. I was still lodged inside of her, but I needed to move before we went another round.
“You have time for a little nap. Is there anything I could do to help you?”
Whenever I could do something to help ease her mind, I did, and she did the same for me.
“No. Can you come cuddle with me?”
There was no way to tell her no when she looked at me the way she did.
I placed a soft kiss on her forehead. “Of course I can.”
I picked her from the counter and carried her upstairs to our bedroom.
Sleep wasn’t a part of the plan, but I had time to cuddle with my wife if that was what she wanted. If she fell asleep, I would get up to finish straightening up and preparing the rest of the side dishes. I knew how she liked certain towels in the guest bathrooms and the air fresheners she liked in the spare bedrooms. She was particular about shit I didn’t think about, but I made sure I complied with her rules.
When we got in bed, Lyric had her back against my chest while I ran circles on the side of her stomach.
I set an alarm, to be on the safe side, because my eyes had suddenly gotten heavy.
“This year has been perfect, and I’m glad we found each other again,” Lyric said as she pulled the covers over us.
“I’m glad, too. Who would have thought I’d stealthe heart of a Capricorn?”
Lyric turned to face me. “And what does that mean?”
I chuckled at the frown on her face.
“Calm down. It just means I know how career-driven y’all tend to be. I also know how mean y’all can be, but you are thesweetest one I know.” I kissed her nose. “Besides my mom, of course,” I teased.
“Mhm.” Her lips twisted. “You lucky I can’t argue with you right now after you put that good D on me.”
Laughter rumbled from my stomach.
I kissed her shoulder. “Trust me, I’ll be ready when you are. Get some rest, baby.” I pulled her into my chest and rubbed her back.
Lyric and I balanced each other out, and as her breathing slowed, I stared at her and thought about how perfect life had been since we’d been back together.
Her heart was mine, and my goal was to keep it forever.
The End!
