Tilting her head to the side, I deepened the kiss, earning me a sexy little moan that rolled over me skin before hitting me straight in the groin. Still, I needed more. More tasting. More teasing. More Rae.
I took a step forward, making sure there wasn't even space for a breath between us. Me ego not the only thing growing when she gasped at what she felt pressed against her.
The kiss deepened even more. Her fingers dug in harder. I wanted to strip her right where we were standing and have me wicked way with her.
Until someone cleared their throat very loudly.
I had no bloody idea how the hell I managed to pull me mouth from Rae's. And when she stared at me with those big eyes and her bottom lip sucked into her mouth, all I could think about was sucking that lip intome mouth.
"Wow." Her voice sounded breathless and sexy. So damn sexy."That was the last thing I expected when I walked over."
Me gaze dropped to her just-kissed lips before slowly lifting to meet hers again."It's theonlything I've wanted to do since laying eyes on you." Under normal circumstances I'd have a few more drinks with the girl, get to know her a little before dragging her off to me bed. With Rae, though, I had this overwhelming need to be alone with her.
Which is exactly why I leaned forward and whispered next to her ear,"You want to get out of here now?"
Her eyes focused somewhere over me shoulder for a beat before she turned her baby blues on me again. It wasn't hard to see that she was trying to work out if she really wanted to leave with me or not. I wasn't going to push; as desperately as I needed to have her all to myself, I needed her to want that too.
We were still standing so close her chest grazed mine when she sucked in an audible breath right before she whispered,"Okay."
That was all I needed to hear. After throwing a few bills next to our discarded beers, I wrapped me fingers around hers and started for the exit. It took me a few strides to realize that for every step I took, Rae had to take three just to keep up.
For the entire walk from the bar to the parking lot, Rae's taste lingered on me lips, only making me crave her more. So much so, instead of opening the door for her, I pressed her up against the side of me truck and assaulted her mouth again.
Without missing a beat, we picked up exactly where we left off inside the bar. Tongues slipping and sliding. Tasting. Devouring.
More. More. More.
The word echoed in me brain, vibrated through me veins. I stepped forward, Rae's knee almost immediately sliding up me thigh. Me hand dropped to her hip, the pad of me thumb digging into the soft skin just below her hipbone.
She made a noise. Something between a sigh and a moan. And then went ahead and stole me sanity when she rubbed against me. I'd lost all control over me body when me hips rocked forward.
Hard seeking soft.
Somewhere in the very back of me mind, the thought that I, a grown arse man, was dry humping a woman against the side of me truck registered. Shite, when did I turn into a horny teenager? Surely I could keep it in me pants for ten more minutes? Again, I tore me mouth from hers with difficulty. Grinning, I reached for the handle beside her."You'd better get in before we give these people a show they didn't pay for."
Dark navy eyes peered up at me from beneath even darker lashes, her mouth lifting into a smile. Me heart stuttered right before it slammed against me ribs at the speed of light.
Somehow, I just knew that smile was going to be the death of me.
Rae rolled her lip over her teeth, gaze trained on me mouth."No," I croaked out."Get in."
The most adorable little laugh bubbled over her lips before she hopped into the passenger side. I quickly closed the door and rounded the truck even faster. Not even a second later the engine rumbled to life, tires screeching as I pressed me foot to the gas.
Eight minutes later, I pulled into me driveway and cut the engine.
Both Rae and I turned to face each other at the same time. Electricity zipping and zapping in the small space of the cab as we simply stared at each other for long, hot seconds. When her tongue darted over her lips, the band that held me sanity together snapped.
Me hand shot out, fingers hooking behind her neck. With one sharp tug, I pulled her face to mine and closed me mouth over hers.
Kissing this woman was like nothing I'd ever experienced. Every stroke of her tongue touching a part of me I had no idea existed. A dormant part that only she had the ability to rouse. Again, me da's words rang through me mind. Sharp and loud.
I pushed it away just as fast.
Focusing on the woman driving me crazy, I pulled at her shirt until I could reach beneath the cotton. An unholy sound hissed past me lips at that first touch. The feel of her soft skin beneath me fingertips had me suffering a sensory overload.
Wanting to touch more of her, I dragged me palm higher until I could fill it with her breast. I groaned. She sighed. We needed more space. I wanted to see her spread out on the floor or the bed. I didn't care where; I just knew I needed more room to explore every inch of her body.
"Inside," I managed to croak out around the kiss.
