He bowed his head. “Yes, my Liege.”
With that, he left me alone with something to ponder. I took a seat at my desk, finished my paperwork, and sent it off to the proper banks and institutions for their records. I now owned Laurent’s businesses and properties as well as Akio’s and Evander’s. My first dragon Queen, Eliza, claimed Akio’s home as her own and his territory, renaming it Eliza’s Paradise. Far be it from me to deny either of my Queens their desires. They should have the luxury of royalty to raise young dragons in. Only my female werewolves were allowed to help patrol those districts. I decided to stay in Evander’s castle. Out of all my properties, it just suited me the best.
Plenty of land for my wolves to hunt on, twenty-five bedrooms, thirty-six bathrooms, tennis court, two pools, one on the outside and one on the inside, and both were designed to look like lakes with waterfalls, rocks, and tropical trees and plants. There was a large room that was used for sex with every toy or piece of furniture one could imagine and then some. My dragons enjoyed that room a lot. I didn’t care if they fucked in my house, my wolves either. Their pleasure gave me power, so I encouraged it, besides, it was just natural. This castle was perfect for them and for me to raise a family in. One day, I hoped I could impregnate one of my wolves, or maybe Elliot could.
Ahh, speaking of Elliot, it was time I checked in on him. I left my office and made my way to my bedroom. It was huge and I had to admit, Evander had excellent taste. I had only needed to make a few renovations to fit my own. The furnishings in the bedroom were changed with Elliot’s approval. I had wanted to go shopping with him in person, but he had refused, leaving me with the only recourse to send him links to the items I wanted to purchase, with him sending me links with what he wanted. The whole exchanged aggravated the fuck out of me, but I did it.
Elliot was standing on the balcony overlooking the backyard, which featured the pool and an actual pond with fish. The forest was about five acres away and still on my property. I truly believed Elliot would be happy here with me, but Hexon was right. I needed to lay down the perfect foundation on which to build our life on. Refusing him such a simple request would not benefit anyone.
I stepped out onto the balcony to join him. “Like the view?” I asked.
He nodded. “It’s really nice. Better than my own home, I’ll admit.”
“Well, this is your home now.”
He turned to me. “So, about what I said earlier… we fucking?” He crossed his muscular arms over his barreled chest. God, he looked great in clothes, but I already knew how fucking hot he looked naked and couldn’t wait to get my hands and mouth on him and my cock in him.
I licked my lips and sighed. “You’re literally a dog with a fucking bone.”
“You’re an Alpha wolf calling me a dog. That’s fucking rich, asshole.”
“Stop being so fucking hostile. It’s just a term to show how stubborn you are,” I said in my defense.
“Then maybe you should choose your words better. Like not using ‘literally’ when speaking metaphorically,” Elliot said, pointing out my faux pas.
“You’re right,” I submitted, which was hard for me. I tried very hard not to grit my teeth on that admission. I didn’t like admitting I was wrong about anything, but not acknowledging your mistakes meant you repeated them. I was less inclined to want to do that, so I apologized for the insult. “Can we start over now?”
Elliot uncrossed his arms and leaned back against the railing. “Answer my question.”
I huffed. “Yes, Elliot, Jesus Christ. We’re fucking. I will claim you in our human forms, then you can fuck me in front of everyone. Happy?”
Elliot smiled. “Well, that’s all I wanted to hear.”
“So, now that we got that out of the way,” I gestured to the bedroom, “is everything the way you wanted? Did you have any issues moving in?”
He looked at the bedroom. “I like the bedroom; this place almost feels like it’s too damn big. I want a room for myself, for my own hobbies.”
“What hobbies do you have?” I asked. “Please tell me it’s building model airplanes or some shit like that.” I laughed.
“Well, I’ll have you know… fuck you… I love my hobby.”
“What is it? I’m dying to know.”
“I like building models of towns. Buildings, homes, trains, boats… as realistic as possible,” Elliot said.
“Did we just slip into the fucking Twilight Zone?”
“Your fault for being a prejudice fuck to think a man like me doesn’t have that kind of hobby,” Elliot shot back.
“You don’t look like you would. I’ll admit that. Seems like you’d be into making shit out of a motherfucker’s skin,” I said.
Elliot smirked. “I’ll take that as a compliment. So, what are your hobbies?”
I had to think about it, then I smiled. “Drawing, painting, sculpturing… I love the arts. And as for having a place to express yourself, we have fifteen rooms available, take your pick.” That was excluding our bedroom, my office and the room I turned into my art studio. The other seven bedrooms had been taken by some of my dragons and wolves.
“Why are you being so nice?” he asked. His expression was unreadable, but I knew he was judging me.
“We’re about to be mated for life. I just had to put things into perspective. Do I feel like arguing with you every day, ramming our horns over petty shit? Hell no. I want to spend my days fucking, eating, and enjoying life. I like to get out, to travel, and I want to do that with you. We may have met on hostile terms, but that doesn’t need to be the way we stay.”
