“Good, come back.”
“Yes, sir,” Chen said, then ended the call.
He was ten minutes away from their stronghold when he received a call from his boss. He answered, “Yes, sir.”
“Fucking Yìchén!” Da Han cursed. “He’s snuck out of the house. Find him.”
Shit.Chen pulled over. “When?”
“Couldn’t have been more thanan hour ago. I’m going to fucking kill him,” Da Han growled and Chen could imagine how pissed his boss was. Now was not the time for Yìchén to be pulling these kinds of stupid stunts.
“I’ll find him, sir,” Chen said.
“I know you will,” Da Han said, then ended the call.
The first thing Chen did was check the tracker he had placed on Yìchén’s cell phone, but the location showed that he was still at home. Chen smiled, because it would appear that Yìchén was clever. It also meant this hunt was going to be a challenge and that excited Chen. When he tracked his prey, he didn’t want it to be easy. He looked at the file he had on Yìchén’s friends, there were five of them. He knew Yìchén didn’t know just how much he was watched as well as those around him. One could never be too safe, especially when your father was the Dragonhead of the Jade Dragon Triad. Every time someone new came into Yìchén's life, an investigation was done on that person.
Same with Ren, too. Da Han wasn’t worried about Li and Xiù that way, because his twins were in the family business. Only his youngest needed that level of protection. Chen pulled up the files and read the information on all five. He called the first one on the list and they didn’t answer. Then he called the next one and got a wrong number. That record would need to be updated, as that friend no longer had that number. The third number he called answered, a female. In the background, Chen could hear loud pop music blaring and figured it was a club.
“Who’s this?” the female asked.
“Is this Sonia?” Chen asked, purposely using the wrong name.
“No, you have the wrong number,” she said.
“I’m sorry. Thank you.” He ended the call, and then used the technology app on his phone to trace the location of Ming Li,which was her real name. Yìchén might have the good sense to ditch his trace, but if Ming Li was with him, she’d be none the wiser. Chen wasn’t sure if he’d find Yìchén with her, but that was his best bet. He pulled out toward the direction of the tracker GPS.
Thirty minutes later, he pulled up to a club called Fantasy that had a bit of a line at the front door and a burly bouncer guarding it. Chen parked and gave the valet instructions to keep his car close by and promised a nice tip in return. The valet nodded, took the keys, and climbed in behind the wheel. Chen walked up to the front door, bypassing the line—and the complaints from those waiting—to slip the bouncer a grand to get access. Once inside, he looked around from the balcony at all of the clubgoers dancing, drinking, and having fun under the multicolored lights. The music was blaring from the sound system and the DJ was behind the booth keeping the party going.
Chen could understand why the little imp had broken the rules to come to a place like this. The energy pulsed, which fed into his thirst for the hunt. His keen, brown eyes scanned the crowd and searched for Yìchén. He decided to hit the main floor and work his way through the crowd when out of the corner of his eye, he saw him. And at the same time, Yìchén’s eyes locked on him and that was when he took off, leaving his friends in confusion. Chen slipped past several people dancing toward Yìchén, who was running through the crowd, pushing past people, toward the exit.
By the time Chen got outside, he saw Yìchén jumping into a cab, the door closing as soon as he got close to it. The cab took off and Chen ran behind it, but as the speed of the cab increased, he gave up and ran back to the valet to get his car. It wasn’t three minutes before the valet pulled up to Chen with his car and he hopped inside after tipping the man again. He called their Jack-of-all-Trades, Stephen Yeoh, and gavethe man the information on the cab as he took off in the direction the cab had been traveling in.
Chen’s heart pounded in time with the pulsing of his hard cock, the excitement of the chase keeping him in a state of arousal. He pulled over before hitting the expressway until he heard back from their Incense Master, who wore many hats. Trained from a teenager to be an asset to the triad, Chen knew it wouldn’t take long to get the details he needed from Stephen. His phone chimed and he answered it.
“The cab just pulled up to a club called Devour. Also, I tracked the cells of his friends and two of them are heading in that direction,” Stephen said.
So, the little imp thought he was going to party the night away while we were in the middle of a war. Chen sighed. “Got it.” He ended the call and followed the coordinates that he was given and this club didn’t have valet, but parking on the streets was available and he found a spot two blocks away. After paying the entry fee for men, he entered and began searching for Yìchén. He spotted the boy with two of his friends in a booth. He took a spot that gave him a good view of the group and he watched as they toasted to Yìchén’s success at evading his “watchdog”.
Chen smirked at the insult but kept his gaze on his prey, the pretty imp that was forbidden to him. His cock disagreed, however. His desires told him that the boy was his to claim and after such a chase, he deserved to indulge in the reward. Chen was inclined to side with his desires and cock, but his mind told him to leave the boy alone. Just snatch him up and bring him to his father. And that was what he was going to do.
He watched as the group finished off the champagne and then made their way to the dance floor. His gaze was steady on Yìchén, andhe let the boy dance with a woman to the hip-hop music bumping through the speakers. Yìchén’s guard was down now and his back was turned. That was when Chen made his move, slipping through the dancing crowd like a phantom until he came up right behind Yìchén. He grabbed the boy by his waist and felt him stiffen.
“We’re leaving now,” Chen said in his ear.
Yìchén began to struggle as Chen began to drag him off the floor. His friends grabbed Chen’s arm in their attempt to break his hold, and Chen turned to them, his gaze lethal, because he wasn’t in the mood for their shit.
“He’s going home now. Take your hands off me or suffer,” Chen warned.
The two friends immediately let go, realizing that Chen was someone they didn’t want to mess with. Chen turned Yìchén around and grabbed his jaw, forcing him to look up at him. “Fun time is over, boy. Stop fighting me or you’ll piss me off.”
“Fuck you,” Yìchén yelled, then punched Chen.
The man’s face snapped to the side, but his grip didn’t loosen. In fact, the blow only excited him even more. The heat of his arousal lit up like a volcano, threatening to erupt. He had to get the boy home or else he’d end up losing control and doing something he’d regret. He released Yìchén’s jaw and dragged him off behind him toward the exit. Yìchén continued to fight him along the way and when they reached the door, Yìchén begged the guards to help him.
“He’s kidnapping me, help!” Yìchén screamed.
Two bouncers blocked Chen’s way and Chen glared at them. His jaw was tight as he tried to hide his annoyance.
