Parting my lips, I licked the seam of her lips until they parted. When my tongue brushed against hers, I heard her moan into the embrace and tried to will my cock to stay down. This wasn’t the time or place for him to join the party. Kissing her was better than I’d imagined as her fingers absently messed with the back of my head.

A throat clearing made her jump, and she pulled away, trying to step away from me. My woman wasn’t going to feel uncomfortable with us showing affection, and when I turned and looked over my shoulder, I saw Jigsaw and Willow standing at the back door.

Sydney ducked her head, and I placed a kiss on the top, whispering, “Don’t be shy, darlin’. We have nothing to hide.”

Her eyes met mine, and I saw a smile pressing onto her face. Reluctantly, I released my hold on her and slipped my hand into hers. Kissing the back, I guided her toward Jigsaw and Willow as they stood waiting for us.

As we approached the back door, Willow walked forward and pulled Sydney into a hug. Sydney didn’t seem to know how to respond but she gave her a quick hug back as Jigsaw watched from his spot beside the door. I slapped hands with him as Willow and Sydney joined us.

“I’m so glad you’re here. I think Cheyenne is cheating at pool and I need some encouragement,” Willow explained as she took Sydney’s hand into her and guided her up the stairs.

Sydney seemed unsure but smiled as Jigsaw opened the door, allowing the women to walk inside. He looked at me and shrugged before we followed the ladies into the back of the club. The usually loud noises of the Sin Den were muted as we walked into the bar.

There were maybe four brothers sitting inside and none of the local regulars who usually took up space at the bar. Jigsaw leaned over and whispered as we walked toward the tables in the center of the room. “Cheyenne didn’t want a full house for Sydney’s first visit, so Roughstock closed the bar to unpatched members for the night.”

I gave him an acknowledging nod as I saw Cheyenne put her pool cue down as Willow and Sydney approached. Her eyes quickly cut to me before she walked up to Sydney. I joined her asI heard Cheyenne say, “It’s nice to finally meet you, Sydney. I’m Roughstock’s ol’ lady, Cheyenne.”

I slipped my hand back into Sydney’s as Willow bounced over to hug on Jigsaw. Sydney returned, “Thank you for having me.”

“What would you like to drink?” Cheyenne asked her.

“Soda please,” Sydney replied.

I leaned over and spoke softly. “You can have a drink if you want, darlin’. I’ll make sure we get home safely.”

She brought her eyes to me and replied, “I’m okay.”

Roughstock walked into the room from his office and made his way over to us. Sydney looked at him as he stepped next to Cheyenne and kissed her on the temple before addressing us.

“Hey, I’m glad you were able to make it. How’s the bike coming?”

Sydney seemed to perk up as she responded. “I got the motor torn down today and Joel is ordering the parts that immediately need to be replaced. I’ll know if there are any deeper problems once I get into the crankshaft tomorrow.”

Willow and Jigsaw stepped up and he was carrying a tray of drinks for us. “Let’s sit down so we can visit,” he said.

The six of us took a table off to the side and Sydney sat directly beside me, keeping her hand in mine. I could feel her nervous energy as everyone got settled. She took a sip of her soda as Roughstock asked a few questions about what she thought would need to be repaired.

Cheyenne gave me a sly wink as she lifted her drink to take a sip. Having Sydney next to me, already winning over my brothers, gave me a sense of pride I had never felt before. I’d seen it with each of my brothers as they found their ol’ ladies, but I never thought I would experience it.

“How long have you been in Rapid City?” Willow asked during a lull in the conversation.

“I moved here at the end of June,” Sydney answered. “Are you from here?”

Willow shook her head and replied, “I grew up in Minneapolis, but was living in Chicago when Dean and I reconnected. It’s a long story, but in the end, we got our happy ending.”

Roughstock gave me a subtle lean of his head and I saw Jigsaw give him a nod. Looking at Sydney, I asked, “Will you be okay for a few minutes? I need to take care of something really quick.”

Cheyenne smiled as Sydney answered, “I’ll be okay. Cheyenne and Willow will keep me company.”

“We’ve got your woman,” Willow joked and wrapped her arm around Sydney’s shoulder.

I stood and stepped back, making sure Sydney was okay before I walked into Roughstock’s office with Jigsaw following behind. He leaned up against his desk and crossed his arms as the door closed behind us.

“What’s up?” I inquired as I took a seat in front of the desk.

Jigsaw sat beside me as Roughstock ran his hand down his face. When he spoke, I was a little taken aback by his statement. “What do you know about Sydney?”

“What’s that supposed to me?” I asked, instantly getting defensive.
