“You sure you don’t want a drink? I can handle myself,” I lied.
“Positive. We are all staying sober, remember? Plus, I need to make sure everything goes smoothly. I’m in charge of the itinerary.” Vegas was meant to be wild, and Sophie was taming herself to help me out. Her efforts definitely didn’t go unnoticed. But I felt guilty for being the reason my brother and Paige had to dial down their experience.
“Yeah, make that enough for the four of us,” Declan told our server.
“You got it!” The brunette jotted down our order on her pad of paper, quickly turning on her heel to grab our drinks.
“Wait—” I called out. Before I addressed her, I nudged my brother. “Don’t worry about me. Sophie agreed to stay sober with me, but please, order a few drinks for you and Paige. It won’t be any different than bonfire nights.”
“You sure, man?” Declan questioned.
“Wait, Myles, are you sure?” Sophie grazed my arm, showing her concern at the same time as my brother.
“Yeah, don’t worry about it.” I swallowed thickly, answering them both.
“In that case, I’ll take a bucket of Coors Light,” Declan ordered.
“I would love some vodka seltzers. A variety of flavors is fine, I’m not picky,” Paige followed up.
“Perfect. Feel free to go out to the pool, and I’ll bring the drinks back here for you to come and go as you please.”
She walked away with a smile on her face, and when she was far enough away from hearing, Sophie said, “Fuck, she issopretty. Does everyone here look like that?”
Paige and Declan were in their own world, with me being the only one to hear her comment. “She’s got nothing on you, Princess.” I winked, stripping off my shirt with one hand, leaving me half naked in my boardshorts.
“Yeah? You think I could get a job as a pool girl if I lived here?” She slipped out of the mesh fabric that tied around her waist, now standing in front of me in what looked like black dental floss.
The smallest damn string bikini I’d ever seen, and suddenly, I was thirsty.
So, fucking thirsty.
It left very little to the imagination for anyone around the pool who snuck a glance. For me, I knew exactly what was under the thin fabric; the only thing missing was knowing how she tasted and how hard her pussy could grip my cock.
I was lucky enough to get a taste of her from her finger, but it would never be enough. It wasn’t the real thing.
The water better be ice fucking cold. I’m going to need it, being around her for the rest of the day.
“Yeah, Soph. You’re a fucking knockout,” I said as she walked in front of me, her full ass on display.
The lovebirds were in the pool, just below the steps. When Sophie approached them, Paige hollered, “Ow! Ow!” as she fanned her face.
Sophie flipped her hair off her shoulders in each direction. “You like?”
“Uh, duh! But I don’t think I’m the only one obsessed with you in this pool.” Paige’s eyes drifted down Sophie’s chest, then made eye contact with me.
“Oh my God. See, Myles, I told you I wouldn’t be able to cover it up,” she said through clenched teeth, turning around and flicking water at me.
“That’s kind of the point, Princess.” I leaned against the edge of the pool with my arms out and an arrogant grin on my face.
“How about we give you guys a moment alone to talk this out. We’re going to grab a drink back at the cabana.” Declan pulled his bride-to-be into his chest as they walked out of the water.
“Didn’t you guys just get into the pool?”
“Are you complaining?” My brother chuckled as he continued toward the private cabana.
I’ve never complained about a moment alone with Sophie.
“You think you’re so smug, huh?” Sophie turned toward me, still too far away for my liking.
