“Yeah, yeah. Sore loser,” she snickers. “You just can’t handle being beaten by an old lady,” she teases, taking off her helmet. Her wig goes with it and my eyes go wide. “See,” she continues, handing the helmet back to the worker. “This old lady did just fine. Kicked this one’s ass.” She points to me.
The worker stares at her in shock.
“Nana,” I hiss. “Your wig”
Her eyes widen as she pats her head before looking at the helmet. “Oh shit,” she hisses, snatching the wig. “Gotta go!” she shouts before taking off.
I burst into laughter as she struggles to get the wig back on her head as she runs.
“God, that was too funny.” I’m in stitches by the time we stop, out of sight, so Ally can fix the wig.
“I think he was too shocked to notice,” Ally wheezes out, laughing too. “How does it look? All fixed?”
I adjust it for her and nod. “You’re good.”
Looping her arm through mine, she looks up at me. “I had fun with you today.”
“Me too.” I smile softly down at her.
“I’m glad you’re a part of this pack. Wouldn’t be the same without you.”
Swallowing hard, I thank her. “Thanks,” I grunt.
“Now, let’s go see the rest of our pack members. I want to see Niagara Falls at night.”
It’s dark by the time we get back to the pack. I have a million missed texts from Liam and Brady asking how Ally is doing. Nomatter how many times I tell them she’s fine, they don’t believe me.
You think they just let me take her out alone? Fuck no. Liam has men undercover all around the park. We were never alone. But hey, if it made them feel better, all the power to them. It didn’t bother our time together.
“There you are,” Lulu says, her smile when she sees me takes my breath away. She runs over to me, launching herself into my arms. “Missed you.” She kisses me, and I moan as her scent settles over me.
“Missed you too, Darlin’.”
Lulu looks down with a raised brow. “Ah, babe, who’s the old lady? Is she lost?”
I toss my head back, deep belly laughs shaking my body as I set Lulu down on her feet.
“What?” Lulu looks so confused. “What’s so funny?”
“Don’t fret,” Ally says in her old lady voice. “Let Nana make it all better.”
She steps forward and kisses Lulu.
Lulu’s eyes go wide in horror. “What the fuck!” she splutters and now it’s Ally’s turn to lose it.
“It’s me!” Ally gasps in between fits of laughter.
“Ally?” Lulu groans. “What the hell?!”
“Sorry,” she laughs. “Had to.”
“This is the disguise you chose?” Lulu questions, smiling wide now.
“Yup.” Ally wiggles her brows.
“Fucking hell!” Brady booms with laughter. “You’ve been out with her like this all day?”
“Yes,” I sigh heavily. “Nana and her grandson’s day out.”
