“Okay, okay,” I grumble, making my way to the bathroom. “But this night better end in orgasms. And a knot!” I shout. “Maybe two.”
It’s my birthday, dammit. I deserve it.
“Whose idea was it to take this tour?” Nate grumbles as we walk behind the group of people following the tour leader.
“Yours.” I snort out a laugh. “You said it would be better to do it at night so it’s less likely we’d get spotted.”
“Sometimes my ideas aren’t always good,” Nate mutters, gripping Liam’s hand like it’s his lifeline.
Lulu giggles, Gavin’s arm wrapped around her shoulder as they walk next to Liam and Nate.
“Don’t you giggle at me!” Nate huffs. “This shit is scary.”
“It is not,” Lulu laughs. “You're just being a big baby.”
“Nate doesn’t do anything scary. So that's exactly why we have to do Halloween Horror Nights while we’re in Orlando.” I grin wickedly.
He shoots me a betrayed look over his shoulder. “Why do you hate me?”
“I do not hate you,” I laugh. “I love you. But I do like hearing you scream like a little girl.”
“She’s mean.” Nate looks up at Liam, who just shakes his head with a soft chuckle.
“I wanna hear that, too,” Lulu says. “Can I record it?”
“Liam, your Omegas are bullying me,” Nate whines.
“Girls, be nice. Our Beta is a sensitive soul.”
“I went into a haunted house once,” Gavin says. “Not allowed to go back there again, though.”
“Why not?” I ask, curious.
“Someone jumped out at me, and my reflex was to punch them in the face. Broke their nose,” he chuckles, not seeming to feel guilty about it at all.
“Of course you would,” I scoff with a laugh.
Today was fun. We went out to eat, explored Salem, and did a bunch of witchy-type things. It might be my birthday, but I spoiled Lulu anytime she looked at something and showed just a bit of interest in it.
My gift is seeing my loved ones happy. That's all I want.
And those orgasms. Then I’ll be a happy birthday girl.
“How’s your night going?” Brady asks as we walk to the next stop, as the guide talks about the history of Salem. Lulu and the others went to the front to hear better, but I like just hanging out back here with Brady.
We’re walking side by side, his hand in mine, my head leaning against his arm. I like the peacefulness that settles over me, along with his leather and musk scent filling my nose. It’s a little chilly tonight, so I’m dressed in one of the oversized hoodies he wears around the bus when he’s not in his cut. It smells just like him, and I love to bury my face in it anytime I need a hit of his scent when he’s not around. Once it loses itssmell, I take Liam’s and make Brady wear this one again for a few days. Lulu does the same. We have these men wearing hoodies all the time just for us.
“Good.” I smile up at him. “It’s been perfect. I like that it was low-key, no paparazzi bothering us. Just our pack and a nice day out. I’d take this over a big Hollywood party any day.”
“Yeah?” he asks, our steps slowing down to a stop. He turns to face me, wrapping his arms around my waist, his hands gripping my butt and pulling me close.
“Mhm,” I hum, wrapping my arms around him, burying my face into his chest. He kisses the top of my head, and I breathe him in, sighing happily as we share this moment. If Lulu wasn’t having the time of her life, I’d ask to go back to the bus so I can have some cuddle time with Brady. It’s been a few days, and I just need him.
“Shit,” Brady grumbles after a few long moments.
“What’s wrong?” I ask, peeking my head up.
“We lost them,” he sighs. I look around and see that we are indeed alone.
