I can picture E there, kneeling on the floor as she waits for me to come in and give her instructions.
Goddammit, Ben. Slow the fuck down.
I clear my throat, and E turns to me with wide, expectant eyes. “Can you tell me a little about what got you interested in kink?”
E swallows. “I read a romance novel—well, several—where kink is a prominent part of the storyline. I got a little fixated on it and started reading articles and blogs regarding the topic, and I… I really liked the things I read about. It fascinated me, and I started thinking about things I would like. The idea of letting someone make decisions for me, of giving them total control over my pleasure…” She trails off and bites her lip, her chest flushing before she shakes her head. “It turned me on more than anything else.”
“That’s the appeal for a lot of submissives. I’m glad you’ve done your research. Some people walk into this not knowing anything, and their expectations are different from reality. Kiera sent me a list of your preferences, but is there anything you’d like to discuss or elaborate on?”
“There wasn’t a place on the sheet for it, but I don’t want there to be any kissing.”
“I see. Kissing anywhere? Or just on the lips?”
“Kissing anywhere above my shoulders.”
I bite back my sigh of disappointment. I’d really, reallylike to taste that sensuous mouth. To mark her pretty neck. But I want to taste other parts of her more. A limit exists for a reason, and I’ll respect it. “Would you mind me asking why that’s a hard no for you?”
“Not at all,” she chirps. “It’s a rule I have in place with everyone I hook up with. Kissing in those places leads to deeper feelings that lead to heartbreak when our time ends. I’d rather walk away from this experience knowing there will be no future, rather than risking attachment.”
I ignore the stab to my gut at her mention ofother people. I just met this woman, and she’s clearly comfortable in her sexuality, so it’s only logical she’s had…relationswith other people. I wonder who hurt her so astronomically she refuses to do even a simple thing like touching her lips to another person’s.
But I don’t need that information because it’s not important for what we’re doing here.
“Understood. No kissing from the shoulders up. Anything else?”
“I have some questions.”
I motion for her to sit on the chaise lounge as I sit in the armchair, propping my right foot on my left knee. My eyes roam her body, getting a better look at the sleeve on her arm. A mix of different flowers, a hummingbird, a dragonfly, and what look like little stars filling in the emptyspaces.
Her eyes take in the way my tailored pants hug my thighs, and I smirk as she presses her own thighs together. Sweet little E is turned on.
“Ask away.”
“How will I know we’re in a scene?”
“Tonight, the scene will start once you give me consent to touch you. If we continue to meet up, our scenes will start as soon as we’re both in the club.”
“That makes sense. Do I need a safe word?”
“I think since this is your first experience with kink, we will use the traffic light system. Are you familiar with it?”
“Green means good to go; yellow means slow down, I need a minute; red means stop immediately.”
“Good girl.” E preens at my praise—something I know she’s interested in from her list. Her eyelids flutter, and her thighs clench again. The blush she’s meticulously brushed on her cheeks is no match for the color of desire underneath the makeup. I also know she’s interested in some light degradation. If she reacts so beautifully to my praise, I can’t wait to see how she reacts to being called my good little slut.
“Any other questions?” I ask, eager as fuck to get this scene started.
“Can I ask you something kind of personal that has to do with kink?”
“Go ahead.”
“Have you ever collared a sub?”
The question takes me by surprise, but I remain cool. I don’t get the feeling she’s asking because she wants to be collared. “I have not. I assume you know how serious and… sacred a collar is in a Dom/sub relationship?” She nods. “Good. Some subs expect their Doms to collar them after a certain period of time, but it’s a very serious commitment and should not be taken lightly. I’ve had to end a few partnerships because we weren’t on the same page.”
“Oh, that’s unfortunate. Well, no need to worry about that with me. I am under no illusion this…relationshipwill get that far.”
The way she says “relationship” sounds like she’s tasted something unpleasant. I hope whatever asshole broke her heart realizes what a fucking mistake he made.
