“I thought that we would be able to tolerate one another enough to at least get through this year smoothly, but again I was wrong. You have got me completely fucked up.”

“How? I haven’t even done shit!” I spat.

“Nigga you are out with not one but two bitches that are not your fucking wife, or did you forget that small detail on the ride over here?”

“No, but I wasn’t aware that I had to cut the shit I did in my personal time out. Everyone knows I’m married just like everyone knows that I’ve been fucking with Kecia and Zoey.”

She scoffed and dropped her arms to prop her hands on those thick ass hips. I licked my lips at the sight. I knew we were supposed to be serious in this moment, but I couldn’t help it.

“So what? You think that you and the media are going to just box me in with this little harem of hoes that you have going on?”

“I mean—aight.” I grabbed her when she tried to walk by me. “Aight, naw, I don’t want them to box you into no fucking harem, Kehlani, but what do you want me to do? I had shit going on before we made a drunk decision.”

“Well since I’m just a drunk decision you shouldn’t have any problem with me annulling this fuck ass marriage. I haven’t spent any of that money so I will give it right back and you don’t have to worry about any future payments.”

I stopped her little ass again. “Wait, no, you can’t.”

“Oh, but I fucking can,” she replied, stepping closer to me. “Because if you think for one mothafuckin’ second that you’re going to be flaunting your big-headed ass around town with two other bitches then you have another mothafuckin’ thing coming for you. Go marry one of their asses since they’re okay with that shit.”

Gently I caught her by the waist, pulling her back to my chest when she stepped around me.

“Aight, I’ll figure it out.”

“No, don’t figure it out, cut it the fuck off. I have a business and children. I will not be painted out to be another member on this little fucked up ass situation you have going on.”

“It’s complicated, man,” I admitted truthfully. Zoey was going to go ballistic when I cut her off.

“What’s more important, your career or those hoes?”

“My career,” I answered easily.

“Then uncomplicate it,” she spat, nudging me off of her. “Twenty-four hours or I’m out.”

She winked and blew me a kiss before she stepped out of the door. I sighed and looked down at my dick that was tented in my shorts due to being around my wife. It was that fucking perfume. She smelled so good. I couldn’t pinpoint the scent. I just knew that it smelled like it tasted good and I wanted to taste her fine ass.

I took a few minutes to get my shit to go down before I headed back out there with my cousin and the girls. Kecia and Zoey were the only two in the section when I got back out there. I waved them over so that we could be out. The spot was filling up now and I didn’t want to risk being seen on the blogs or some shit even though Kecia had already blown my spot up.

When we got outside, I asked them to meet me at my crib before I climbed into my car and headed home. On the way there, my manager sent me a text for me to meet him at his office. He also informed me that my pops and my uncle would be there as well. I wanted to decline, but I knew it was business shit, so said fuck it. I needed to handle shit with Kecia and Zoey quick and head over there.

They were pulling in right behind me, so when I went inside, I stopped in my living room. We just needed to have this quick conversation and they could be on their way.

“Naw, right here.” I pointed to the couch when Kecia tried to keep her strides to the back. Her face twisted up in confusion, but she did as I asked her to.

“What’s going on?”

“Look, we got to chill on this shit.”

Kecia’s face frowned up and Zoey sank down the wall that she was leaning against. Kecia I wasn’t concerned about, but Zoey was a different story. I knew that she was going to take it harder.

“Chill on this? What does that even mean?” Kecia barked.

“You need to check your fucking tone, first of all. Secondly, it means this shit right here is a wrap. I need to put all my focus on my career, so I need to fall back.”

“Why?”

“R-right, I-I thought you were happy like this,” Zoey chimed in. “I thought this is what you wanted.”

“It was, but right now I need to put my focus elsewhere.”
