Russell Richardson’s Ex’s Home Vandalized

By: Suzie Q

Nov 18th

The former partner of Russell Richardson, Siobhan Leary, had her home vandalized, according to police reports.

TheShady Oaksactress was not home at the time.

According to sources, Miss Leary is very afraid and has since moved out of the gated community she lived in. All sightings of her and the sexy hockey player ceased since our last reporting, so it’s unlikely she moved in with Carter Carmichael.

Chapter 14

Carter

It felt weird being back at my house. It felt too big for one person. The renovations of the kitchen and the bathroom were supposed to make everything homier, yet it still didn’t feel like home. The only good thing about moving back into my place was that all my stuff was at my fingertips, and Siobhan lived close by.

Hearing the notes to theShady Oakstheme song, I got excited that my love was calling. It was earlier than expected, only five PM, and this was prime time with her daughter, so something wasn’t right. “Everything okay?”

“No,” she answered. Her voice sounded broken, but I could tell she was trying to be strong. “I just dropped Stephanie off at her nan’s house after discovering someone had defaced my house.”

Oh fuck.

I wanted to rush over to her and save her, but she was driving on the road, so I had to be practical until I had more information. “Have you called the police? Do you want me to come over?”

“Not yet with the police, but yes to you coming over.”

I didn’t need to be told twice. I jumped into my truck and started heading over to her place. “On my way, but do me a favor and call the police right now. Also, don’t go in until either I or the police get there."

“I won’t.” Her voice sounded so small and defeated. It killed me, and I wished there was a way to make things better for her.

She disconnected the phone call, and I pushed the pedal to the metal. I didn’t give a damn about the speed limit. I just wanted to comfort my girlfriend.

When I pulled up to the driveway, Siobhan looked so fragile, hugging herself with one arm as she stared down at the ground. She was chatting on the phone. I leapt out of the truck and made my way over to her.

I scooped her into my arms and just held her as she talked into the phone. It was clear she was speaking to the police since she gave them directions on how to get to her place, so I just held her. I looked at the words scrawled on her house and shook my head.

I hated it. Whoever wrote those messages couldn’t be more wrong about her character. The color was going to be a bitch to remove since it was so bright, but I planned on getting rid of all of it the moment we were given the okay.

Once she hung up the phone, she gave me a tight, forced smile that I wanted to kiss off her face since she didn’t know that she never had to fake a single emotion for me. “Baby, it’s going to be okay. I’ll help you any way that I can.”

Just then, I noticed there was a package on her doorstep. My plan was to avoid that package at all costs.

I didn’t want to pull her focus to the package, so I gently pulled her away until the police could get there.

I caressed her back, trying to remind myself that I couldn’t squeeze the life out of her. Time with her kid was important to her, so giving it up had to be difficult. I was so torn about asking her if Stephanie saw anything. I wanted to know everything, but I didn’t want to retraumatize her either.

The police came up and started to talk to Siobhan. I listened to the introductions, but my pocket buzzed incessantly. Only one person in my life would be calling this many times in a row. My sister.

I excused myself and walked toward my car. I pulled out my phone and saw that, indeed, it was Natalie calling. “Nat. Now is not the time.”

“Well, hello to you too. We need to talk unless you’re having a booty call with my friend.”

I sighed and squeezed the bridge of my nose, trying to control my thoughts. I hated how much she rubbed into my face that Siobhan was her friend first, and how the only reason I was dating anyone was because of her.

I tried to keep my voice level, but she needed to know that right now really wasn’t a good time for a chat. No matter what she wanted to talk about. “Nat, I’m dealing with a crisis right…"

“You’re not dealing with this on your own. I’m coming to you.”
