This is the first new relationship for actress Siobhan Leary since the breakdown of her most recent rekindling of herrelationship with her ex, Russell, almost nine months ago. The two have been off and on since they divorced nearly nine years ago.
Until now, it’s been rumored that she still held a flame for her child’s father. However, the same couldn’t be said for the A-list actor who has been connected to many women, including two other Shady Oaks actresses, the same show that brought Siobhan to fame.
We will be following the story closely.
Chapter 7
Siobhan
For the first time since I started sleeping with Carter a couple of weeks ago, he wasn’t there when I woke up in the morning. Reaching over to the nightstand, I grabbed my cell phone to make sure I didn’t oversleep since I was supposed to film today.
It was still only seven, so I had plenty of time before I had to get to the studio for hair and make-up.
Knowing that I should be on my way soon, I gathered up my clothes from last night. That meant the teal jersey and white bootie shorts. I gathered my hair and tied it into a ponytail in hopes of taming it after a few too many orgasms.
I walked out to the kitchen, hoping that Carter was making breakfast with his best friend. They were working on a breakfastof avocado toast, which looked fresh and luscious. “Oooh, boys. That looks good.”
I still didn’t feel like I knew Spencer all that well since most of the time, Carter would whisk me away, and we would have sexy time before he got home. I never had a chance to set my master plan of hooking Natalie and Spencer up into action, so seeing him in the kitchen helping Carter gave me the proper opportunity to set up the perfect blind date.
Coming up to Carter, I touched his shoulder, and he gave me a quick kiss. Then, he asked, “Do you like smoked salmon?”
It sounded fresh and healthy, but it wasn’t something I normally combined with avocado toast. “Sure, I’ll give it a try.”
Spencer picked up his plate of fruit and eggs, and I knew I had to act quickly if I was going to set up this double date between him and Carter’s sister. “Don’t go just yet," I said.
He paused and raised an eyebrow at me while Carter paused in place and tensed up. “What’s up?”
I wanted to tell Carter to relax, but I didn’t want him to squash the idea. If he’d been keeping Spencer away from me, he would probably kill the very idea of a double date.
“How would you feel about going on a double date with us?” I asked.
Spencer was clearly shocked, and I was pretty sure Carter had a similar look. Spence glanced at Carter before he decided to say, “Maybe. Depends on the girl.”
That’s when Carter handed me the plate of toast with smoked salmon on the side before heading to the coffee machine. His voice was full of humor as he pointed toward me. “Now, I love my man, but he’s not exactly the most dateable guy. What type of woman would you set him up with?”
Spencer acted like he was hurt when he said, “You wound me.” But it was clear that those two loved to harass each other like good friends do.
I loved it, and I wished Carter wasn’t trying to keep him away so much.
I figured out the perfect way to describe Natalie without revealing that I wanted to do a double date with Carter’s sister. “Someone who is wicked smart, a little bit sassy, and ambitious.”
Spencer smiled and was excited by that prospect. Of course, he asked for her name, which wasn’t going to happen until that night. Hell, I wanted to make sure we were at the table before he actually found out who I was hooking his best friend up with.
So I played it coy. “You gotta earn it.”
Spencer and Carter would never get the name out of me, no matter how much they tried to sweet-talk or bribe me.
Chapter 8
Siobhan
Isat criss-cross applesauce on the sofa as I went over the latest script that had just been emailed to me. Having my legs folded under me always allowed me to study.
My first step was to highlight all my lines in purple on the same tablet that I access my email. That way, I had a rough idea of how many lines I had in each script.
My house alarm chirped to let me know that the door opened. Since I was almost done with the highlighting, I focused on doing that because it was most likely Natalie coming into the house. I didn’t want to lose my place.
“Where are you?” Natalie’s voice rang out since she knew there were a couple of places in the house where I liked to do my work.
