He cupped my head, pulling me to him until my nose hit his side and he forced me to follow him. I scrambled to keep up by holding onto his two fingers and even tugged at them to get him to slow, but there was no reaction.

“Wait.” I gasped as my toe caught on a divot and I stumbled. Tene gripped a chunk of hair to right me. I screamed and wrapped my hand around his wrist to lessen the pinpricks across my scalp.

He released me, and his hands hovered over my head, but he didn’t touch.

“That hurt.” I scowled at him and rubbed my head. His runes flared and dimmed.

“I did not know.”

I figured.I huffed, and the pain receded. His hands slowly lowered, and he stepped back.

“It’s okay, all humans have a pretty low pain tolerance, and my head has always been sensitive.”

“I will take care to not touch your fur.”

My nose scrunched. Fur? My lips twitched, and I hummed an agreement, not wanting to correct him on the wording. “Is the fur here also sensitive?” He grazed the back of his claw against my mound, and I sucked in a shocked breath. All I could do was blink at him for a few seconds with my lips twitching.

I swallowed my laugh.

“It can be.”

The corners of his lips tipped down.

I was done for if this caused all sorts of butterflies in my stomach.

“Feeding comes first, and then we will speak,” Tene said, and hesitated before holding his two fingers out. I bit the inside of my cheek to stifle my smile and wrapped my hand around the two fingers.

He strode down the hall with slow, measured steps and looked back at me every few steps. Those flutters in my stomach spread toward my chest.

I craned my head to investigate an entrance as his glow reflected off something gold inside there.

“What’s in there?” I continued following him past the alcove. His head tilted in the direction I looked, and his head stretched to the side.

“A dragon owned this cave. He enjoyed hoarding.”

“Where is he now?” I could guess, considering he’d devoured those other dragons. I cleared my throat. “Never mind.”

Silence fell between us except for my uneven stride. For such a big monster, his steps were quiet as a feline. The soft cascade of water falling broke through the quiet, and he came to a stop. Was that a wall? I stumbled and pressed into his side. It was a fall down a dark hole, and his glow didn’t reach far.

Tene scooped me in his arms and stepped off the ledge. I squeezed my eyes shut until a thump jostled through his frame.

The sound of trickling water sounded. Sand crunched under his steps as he approached it, and at the lip of the pond he set me down and pulled at my dress.

I hurried to pull it off so he didn’t tear it, and tossed it to the side. My arms crossed over my bared chest, and I stepped toward the water with each one he took toward me. Water lapped at my ankles, then my thighs until I was submerged up to my chest.

“Feed,” he ordered. What? I furrowed my eyebrows and shook my head, not understanding. Feed on what? What was he talking about? I wasn’t hungry.

A soft clicking came from his chest, almost like a frustrated sound. With one of his big palms, he scooped water and splashed it on my face. Like I had the other day when he’d brought me here.

He thought this was feeding me.

“You think this is feeding me?”

He tilted his head and stared at me. I filled my cheeks with air and lowered into the water. Explaining it to him could wait till later when he didn’t seem so adamant for me tofeed.

He stood stiff in the water as he watched me dunk myself. The tip of his tentacle-wrapped cock bobbed at the surface.

My mouth watered and a hollow feeling in my stomach spread. Similar to being hungry, but not the same because this feeling caused my mouth to water at the thought of his cum.
