When his hands move back beneath my skirt, he pulls my panties down the rest of the way before slipping them over my feet. The movement dislodges his cock from inside me, and I gasp as our combined releases slip down my thighs. “I need a tissue!” I whisper urgently, panicking that it will seep into my dress and leave a very obvious wet patch.

Wilder stuffs my panties into his jacket pocket before he slips his hand beneath the fabric of my dress. He begins to smear the culmination of our pleasure across my inner thighs, massaging it into my skin in a surprisingly erotic move.

“Why are you stealing my panties?” I ask while he works.

He smirks before pressing a kiss to the tip of my nose. “I’m keeping them to jerk off into when I’m replaying this later.”

“We should do this again,”Wilder says several hours later when we leave the bookstore—after having visited the bathroom to clean up properly.

“Have sex in a bookstore?” I clarify, wiggling my eyebrows. I glance up at him as he looks down from where I’m tucked beneath his arm.

“I don’t care where we are or who is watching. I’ll happily fuck you anytime, anywhere.” He puts just enough emphasis onanywhereto make my cheeks burn.

“There should be a sex club that has people read smutty books to its patrons,” I muse aloud, making Wilder throw his head back and laugh.

When we reach the car, he opens my door for me, and I wait until he climbs in beside me before working up the nerve to say, “So, I was thinking I’d like to see your room at the frat house.”

He glances over at me, brow furrowed. “Why?”

I feel a little guilty about this lie, even as I force a nonchalant shrug. “I’m just curious to see what it looks like. Maybe tick off a couple of those typical college experiences that I never got to do.”

I mean, it’s not a complete lie. Of course, I want to spend time with him and see what his room looks like, and part of me would love to play out what my college days might have looked like if I’d attended Ridgeway with him and Hawk.

However, I am specifically asking this with an ulterior motive in mind—to see inside the Kappa Epsilon Library—and I do feel guilty about that.

His lip curls up in a dirty smirk. “Is that so?”

“Maybe I could stay over some night?”

“Of course.”

“I don’t want to risk running into any of my students, though.”

“That’s okay.” He gives me a cheeky wink. “If you’re willing to sacrifice your night alone, we could do it tomorrow. Fridays are quiet with students leaving campus for the weekend.”

I grin back at him, reaching over to entwine my fingers with his. “Sounds perfect.”

Chapter11

EMILIA

“Come on,” Wilder groans, staring at me with pleading eyes. “It’ll be fun.”

“No,” I repeat for the fifth time. “I can’t risk it. What if someone recognizes me or I’m caught by one of my students?”

“We’ll go super late, and it’s not like it’s one of the main party nights of the week—a lot of students won’t be there, which makes it the perfect party to go to. Besides, everyone will be drunk, so even if someone does recognize you, they won’t even remember seeing you when they sober up in the morning.”

I glance toward Hawk, hoping he’ll talk some sense into Wilder. Except he leaves me to fend for myself, smirking as he turns his back on us to wash the dishes from dinner.

Asshole. I can’t believe I thought he’d changed his ways. He’s as insufferable as ever.

“Kai,” I exclaim, turning to him for help instead when he walks in. Unlike the jerk behind me, my sweet Kai would never leave me helpless against Wilder. “Tell Wilder I can’t go to a college party since, you know, I’m not astudent.”

Kai’s eyes shift from me to Wilder before he shrugs. “It’s actually not a terrible idea.”

“What?” I splutter. “Not a terrible idea? It’s a disastrous idea!”
