“When I offered to help you, I assumed you had done this before,” he said.
“Done what? Had sex or traded myself to others?”
“Both.”
Ouch.I gripped the bedpost and pulled myself off the floor, trying to keep the throw from slipping to reveal my naked body.
“Why me?” He reached for my hand and guided me into his lap. “You could have gone right to Bello and offered him the same deal.”
“The kiss at the club.” I gazed into his eyes, ignoring the urge to hide from him. “It meant something to me.”
“I appreciate your honesty.”
“I’m sorry this didn’t go the way you had hoped, but please don’t go back on your word. Bello will kill Chance if you ask for your money back.”
“Chance’s debt is paid off, but yours isn’t.” He gripped my chin and held me still. “And just because you’re a virgin, that doesn’t get you off the hook.”
“But I’m… I mean tying me up and…”
“I wouldn’t have done that if you had been honest with me.” He let go of my chin and traced his fingers along my jaw and to my throat. “That was your fault.” He slipped the throw from my shoulders as he leaned in and kissed my neck. “I’m still going to get what I want, but I’ll have to be a little more patient with you.”
A chill coursed through me when he slowly swiped his thumb along my nipple, triggering a fierce and steady shiver.
“You’re going to have to relax.” He scooted me off his lap and stood, pulling me to my feet.
I caught the throw before it could fall to the floor and covered myself with it.
“You’re not going to need that.” He tugged it from me and tossed it on the edge of the bed. “Let’s start over.”
I pressed my palms against his chest, taking in the ink that covered most of it. He ran his hand through my hair and tangled his fingers in it, guiding my mouth to his. Once our lips connected, my fear dissolved into desire. The longer he kissed me, the more I explored with my hands, running them over his shoulders and down his taut back.
Milo glided his hand along my throat and to my breasts, cupping one in his hand as he lowered his mouth to my nipple. He trailed his other hand down my stomach, brushing it against my mound. Nudging my legs apart with his knee, he thrust his fingers inside me.
“I feel like I won the lottery with you,” he whispered into my ear. “I’m going to be all of your firsts. I’m going to show you a world you wouldn’t dare imagine.”
I bit my lip, trying not to hiss from the sting he’d left me with earlier. The burn between my legs was nothing compared to the lust that surged inside me. I was the moth to Milo’s flame. No matter what sordid details brought me to him, I felt no shame.
I wanted this. I wanted him.
He led me onto the bed, and as I propped myself against the pillows, he rid himself of his pants and boxer briefs. I gazed fixated on his stunning body. All of his glorious muscles were covered in tattoos and olive-colored skin.
He got on the bed and positioned himself between my legs, brushing his lips along my inner thighs. He kissed between my legs, taking his time to trail the tip of his tonguealong my slit. I gripped the comforter when he licked inside my tender sex.
“Did I hurt you before?” he whispered with a hint of regret in his tone.
“It wasn’t your fault.”
“I only want to bring you pleasure.” He reached for my hand. “There is a place for pain, but only if it heightens your experience.” He kissed his way up my stomach. “We’re going to explore everything until I learn what you like and what you don’t.”
“I’m not even sure what I like,” I admitted. “But I do like being close to you.”
When he swirled his tongue over my nipple, I wrapped my legs around his waist. He gripped my wrists and pinned them above my head, staring into my eyes.
“I want you to feel all of me, but I can’t risk hurting you.” He leaned back on his thighs and tugged me onto his lap, resting my legs on either side of him. “We’re going to do it this way.”
“Okay.” I had no idea what I was agreeing to, but I wanted to be with him.
“If I lay you down and get on top of you, I’m going to rip you in half.” The devil in his glint flickered before me when he grasped my hips and eased me onto him. “Trust me, you’re not ready for that.”
