Peter’s dorm rose in the distance beyond it.
All those hours looking for Draven, and he lived a few blocks away!? If Peter had ever had the courage to take the short-cut through the forest, he’d have seen the van. Instead, he’d always gone the long way around and missed it.
Unbelievable.
As unbelievable as a potential meal pressing a vampire’s mouth against your neck. Did Peter have no sense of self-preservation?
Was Draven a real vampire?
‘Please, please let vampires be real,’ Peter begged the universe. ‘I’ll do anything.’
“Your heart is beating so fast for me,” Draven said.
‘Uh - only if Draven isn’t taking me to his lair to drain and kill me,’ Peter quickly amended. ‘But wow, what a way to go.’
Draven walked down to the recessed door, shoes clicking on the concrete steps. The basement suite sat low in the ground with only small rectangular windows for light.
Yellow eyes watched them from the forest.
They’d made it. Although exactly what Draven was protecting him from was unclear.
The door swung open silently. Draven stepped forward, and darkness swallowed them.
Not a single sliver of light penetrated the small windows. They were blacked out. It made sense, if sunlight was dangerous for Draven.
The man walked forward without a second’s hesitation. Completely at home in the dark.
Peter closed his eyes. Opened them. There was no difference.
It didn’t stop him from grinding their cocks together. If anything, it made him even hotter. It was like sensory deprivation, and all he could feel was Draven.
The cool body holding him tight. The wet lips and fangs crazing his neck. Sucking hard once again. Draven’s soft moans like he could barely control himself.
It was enough to make anyone lose their mind.
“Oh.” Peter rocked harder against Draven.
Was he getting close already? He shouldn’t be, after such a painful threat.
“If I put you down, will you run?”
Peter swallowed thickly, his throat working against Draven’s lips.
What an odd thing to ask. Hadn’t Peter been screaming from the rooftops how badly he wanted Draven from the moment they met?
“Why would I run? I want you.”
Peter let go of Draven’s waist to prove it, even if his dick complained. His toes just barely touched the ground, Draven holding him up effortlessly.
“You’re not worried I’ll lose control and drain you dry?”
“Please,” Peter whispered, offering his neck.
Was the darkness making him delirious? What was he saying?
It was Draven’s turn to swallow tightly.
“Are you sure? You’re safe here now, they can’t reach you. I fear once I've had you completely, I’ll never let you go.”
