The actress walked ahead of me with her hands tethered behind her back.

We went straight from the bustling hangar towards the closest teleportation area. My fellow Terruxians stared at her while we passed, too dumb to even disguise their curiosity.

I hated them for it. I didn't want anyone looking at her. They weren't worthy of her beauty.

"You're hurting me," She hissed.

I loosened my grip on her arms slightly, not having noticed how hard I was holding onto her. I couldn't apologize, that would only show weakness. "Just making sure you don't escape," I said.

"And go where?" She shot back.

"Hurry up," I said, placing myself between her and the other Hunters. I felt the need to shield her from their curious eyes. I wanted to protect her as if she was my own. But she wasn't. She belonged to the Commander. So why was I acting this way?

I needed to get my thoughts in order. This human was making me question my loyalties -- something we Hunters did not do.

We stepped into the teleporter. There was barely enough room for both of us in here, but she was small enough to squeeze in.

"Office 56-K," I said.

"Office 56-K," The computer said back to me after a moment. "Waiting for teleportation channel. Channel confirmed."

My skin prickled as we were zapped from the hangar to one of the upper floors.

The human swayed on her feet, falling against me. She would have hit the floor if I didn't catch her.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"Fine," She said groggily. Her face had gone pale. "I think I might be sick," She added.

"You'll get used to teleportation tubes," I said as I guided her towards the Commander's office.

This was it. My mission was nearly complete. Once I handed her off, I'd never see her again. But I'd get praise and a promotion, which was what I wanted, right?

I noted the blue light above the door and pressed my finger to the pad. The door slid open with a whoosh.

"Visitor biometrics confirmed -- Zeysor, Squad 43," The computer said.

The Commander stood with his back to us, watching the screens on the white wall. His eyes lit up when he turned around.

"There you are, Zeysor. Not a moment too late. Exactly what I expected of a Hunter like you," The Commander said before his hungry eyes moved to the human female.

I gently guided the female into the office and the door clicked shut behind us.

The Commander's eyes looked her up and down, his gaze hotter than a laser scanner.

The sight of him near here made my blood boil. No, she wasn't mine, I had to remind myself over and over. Still, I didn't release her arm.

"Wonderful," The Commander said.

The human gasped once and then held her breath as the alien Commander approached her. She wasn't hiding her disgust very well.

"Hello Greta Yurt, you must be shocked. I promise everything well be fine, my sweet human female," The Commander said with a grin.

"I'm not Greta Yurt!" The human shouted. "My name is Lola, I'm her body double. I've said it a thousand times, but your brute of a manservant is too stupid to tell the difference!"

I stepped back as her voice went shrill.

The Commander's grin dropped. "You're not Greta?"
