“Two!”

She gets on her tippy toes, arms thrown around my neck.

“One!”

She kisses me just as the New Year comes in.

Igroan, myheadpounding as Jace hands me a bottle of water on the terrace of our hotel room. He chuckles softly, his thumb wiping at the syrup on my bottom lip.

“I told you that drinking four margaritas would give you a migraine.”

Pouting, I nod my head. “I know but they were sooo good.” I sigh.

After the club last night, everyone sort of went their own separate ways. Derek, Georgia, Blake, and Cleo were nowhere to be found, and I’m pretty sure Denver and Ryan went back to Eren Marlowe’s hotel room.

Sighing, I rest my head in my hands, looking out at the scenery before grimacing.

“It’s too bright…Turn off the sun for just a second,” I moan as Jace cackles like an asshole behind me.

“Turn off the sun? Angel, go lay down and I’ll bring the food in.”

I pout. Does he really think thatI’mgoing to use my own legs to carry me to bed? Does he not see the condition that I’m in?

“I’ll carry you to bed.” He gives me an amused sigh as I throw my hands up, waiting to be carried only for the loud ringer of his phone to go off.

“Block them,” I say, holding my hands over my ears.

Who the fuck uses their ringers these days? Is he eighty?

Jace sighs, holding his phone out for the both of us to see as our friend's face pops up on the screen.

“Dude, it’s fucking 8:00 am, why are you—”

Before Jace can scold them, he’s interrupted by a loudscream, “I fucked up!”

The air in my body is knocked loose as a four carat engagement ring stares back at us.

Holy shit…

“I don’t know what happened last night, but this?!” They scream and my blood goes cold as the phone hangs up.

My mouth is on the floor as I look up at the robe and sunglasses wearing man beside me.

Jace’s jaw drops, “How the fuck did they get married before us?! I’ve been in love with you for twelve years!”

THE END.

Epilogue

— two years later

“Isweartoallthings holy, Sienna Jones, if you cry and ruin this makeup, I will kick your ass on this fine Saturday morning,” Georgia huffs, dabbing under my eyes for the second time today.

I let out a deep shaky laugh, my skin itching as I look around the room surrounded by the people I love and cherish. Clothed in lavender silk robes with their hair and makeup done, my girls look stunning.
