I can’t eat, shit, or sleep without the monster being in the same room. I thought cats were supposed to be aloof, and that maybe this motherfucker is broken, but when I took him to the vet, they said he was normal.

It’s been hard hiding him from Sienna considering she’s crazy perceptive, but Derek’s been watching him for me.

“So does this mean we’re catandferret parents?” she asks, the smarmy cat looking up at me with a knowing smirk.

I’m sick of this cat. It’s only been a few days that I’ve had him with me solely, but he’s odd.

“Sadly, but I have one more gift,” I announce, letting the room and Sienna settle as I pull out the small card at the very bottom of the box, handing it to Sienna.

“Jace…” she breathes my name, the sound like music to my ears.

“How do you feel about going to Vegas?”

“I’MGOINGTOVEGAS,BITCHES!”

I watch in amused silence as my girlfriend proceeds to bend over the stairs of my private jet and shake her ass for the world to see.

Sienna cheers for herself, giggling and laughing as our friends cheer and record her behind me. I turn my head, eyeing the guys and smirking as they all find different spots in the sky to look at, the only one with a scrunched up face being her cousin.

I’d planned today so that everyone would arrive at the airstrip before Sienna, surprising her on the tarmac. Sienna jumps and cheers when my flight crew appears at the plane's door, a bottle of tequila and a furry, purple21crown in hand.

Like a princess, Sienna curtseys, allowing the crown to be placed on her head and taking the bottle with a loud cheer.

“She is going to be so fucked up…” Cleo mumbles amused by her cousin as Sienna dances her way inside the plane.

“Good, she’s been asking about this trip every day since I brought it up.”

We follow Sienna inside the plane, all of us laughing when she screams, running around the medium sized private jet.

I’d gotten a team of event planners to decorate both the jet and our hotel suite in Vegas before we arrived. Lavender feathers and clusters of balloons and glitter decorate the expanse of my jet. I’m shocked by the amount of purple that covers the green machine, down to the seats and carpet.

“This is the best birthday ever!” Sienna squeals, her eyes bright with excitement as she points to the large banner over the back of the plane with her name printed in glitter.

There’s cut outs of her face in different expressions decorating each seat and two boxes of cookies from The Sweet Tooth on one of the tables.

“She’s definitely not making it to tomorrow. Good luck, Heart,” Ryan says, patting my back as he enters the plane and takes a seat next to Denver in the front.

Shaking my head, I laugh lowly, taking a seat next to Sienna, smiling when she turns to me.

“I’m serious, Jace, this is the best birthday ever.” She frowns, but her eyes are full of light as she pecks my lips.

“Hm…I need a little bit more,” I pout, sticking out my bottom lip as she rolls her eyes.

“Oh fuck you…I can’t wait to see what Vegas has to offer for us.” She sighs, leaning back in the seat, getting fully comfortable.

Strippers.

Vegas has strippers to offer. Male fucking strippers at that.

When Denver told me that she had the best birthday idea for Sienna, I thought she meant getting drunk and hitting up the club—not sitting front row at a Lovely Larry show.

I grimace as some asshole thrusts his leather clad junk in my face, rolling my eyes as the girls cheer for it.

“You’re dead when we’re done,” Derek tells me, swatting away the male stripper dancing in front of him.
