It was nice to know that he always had someone who would stand by his side and protect him. No matter what.
That was love.
That was family.
He couldn’t lie to his brother any longer.
“Marcus, I’m gay.”
The words just fell from Ace’s mouth without him even thinking.
Beside him, Marcus stopped walking and turned to face him.
He was silent. Not saying a word or even moving.
Just when Ace thought he couldn’t take the silence any longer, Marcus finally spoke.
“I know.”
“You know?” Ace asked, his heart pounding in his chest like he had been running a marathon.
“I’ve known since you were six. You kept trying on Mom’s heels and smiling every time a shirtless dude appeared on the television.”
Ace felt his cheeks flush.
“What? But why didn’t you ever say anything?”
Marcus shrugged. “I figured you would tell me when you were ready and felt comfortable enough.”
That was why he loved his big brother. Always there to love him and protect him. Never judging or forcing him to be something he was not.
“I… I…” Ace didn’t know what to say.
“There’s nothing for you to say. You’re my little bro. I love you and will always protect that skinny little ass of yours. No asshole is ever going to speak shit about my little bro, be he gay, straight, or anything in between.”
Ace leaned over and wrapped his arms around his brother. He squeezed him so tightly that it stopped the fluid from leaking from his eyeballs.
“You’re the best, dude,” Ace whispered, hugging his brother like never before.
“Yeah, well. Just promise me you won’t go fucking any of my friends. Those dicks are off-limits. The rest are fair game.”
“Sounds like a deal,” Ace agreed, releasing his brother from his bear hug.
Sipping his coffee, Ace smiled at the forgotten memory. He hadn’t intended to break his promise to his brother, but then again, he hadn’t expected to meet such an amazing man.
A rustling in the hallway caught Ace’s attention. He glanced up just in time to see a pale, white ass disappear into the bathroom.
He chuckled, then took a sip of his coffee as he listened to the steady exhale of Blade’s breath as he emptied his bladder with the bathroom door still open.
What was it about listening to a man pee that always turned him on? It wasn’t the act of peeing so much as the crude and boyish behavior behind the act that always made his dick hard.
The toilet flushed, and then the water ran for a brief thirty seconds.
At least the man washes his hands after taking a leak. That was definitely a point in the “keepers” column.
“Fuck, that feels better,” Blade announced, walking into the living room with his dick swinging with every step.
Yet another thing that turned Ace on to no end.
