He does have a point. What does it matter if I get her back? “And if I do this, you will help me to get Alexi back?”

A growl comes from behind me, and honestly, this little display of jealousy is turning me on even more.

Do I want him?

Yes.

He kisses me lightly on the neck.

Do I want the power he is offering?

Abso-fucking-lutely.

Will I regret doing this if it leads to me getting Alexi back?

Definitely not.

The only concern I have left, even though it is a fleeting thought at the moment, is whether I will be able to walk away after I have gotten everything I ever wanted.

Fortunately for me, his hands on my body leave me no other choice but to comply with the desires burning in my gut.

Ican feel her temperature rise, and beads of anticipation form on my forehead. Our bodies, flooded with endorphins, are preparing for the physical exertion needed for the power ignition that is about to take place.

Her needs permeate into the air around us, and it fills me with an unquenchable thirst. I have had other girls before, and the power exchange feels unimaginable until it fades and I regain my old powers. I never felt the need to look for them again because I got what I wanted, but something tells me that the woman staring back at me in the window’s reflection is going to be different.

Noticing her milky, unblemished skin, I see the transformation happen before my eyes. She isn’t in control of it, and it makes me giddy to know that I am making her lose control.

All of our kind prides itself on never losing control, and here is this ravishing being, aching for my touch and unable to hide her desire.

My lips brush against her shoulder, and she shivers to my delight.

“I want you to look at yourself. This is the last time you will see yourself this way. Everything will change after this,” I breathe out close to her ear.

“Why?”

“Why what?” I ask when I move to the other shoulder and leave lingering kisses.

“Why me?”

She doesn’t realize the significance.

I take her by the shoulders and whip her around. “Didn’t your mother ever tell you the truth?”

She avoids my eyes, and I immediately regret asking. “I am an orphan. Never knew anyone who wanted me.”

I put my finger under her chin and lift her face to mine. I kiss her gently on the corner of her mouth. “I want you.” I kiss the other corner. “And a little while is better than nothing, isn’t it?”

Her eyes are closed and her lips are puckering. She looks adorable, but I want to do more than kiss her.

Slowly, I turn her around and demand, “Look closely, you have to see to believe.”

My hands trail down her sides, and she shimmers in the moonlight. “You are magnificent.”

She gives a coy smile and some of the attitude from earlier resurfaces. “Don’t take this the wrong way, but I don’t think this is all you. Do you have any other tricks to show me?”
