“Are you pregnant?” He tilts his head and grins.
I grin back and nod my head.
Austin grabs Grace and swings her high in the air, “Mommy’s going to have a baby.”
“Mommy have baby.” She squeals, having no clue how much her world will change.
I sigh blissfully. “Could even be twins, you never know.” I start walking up the brand new steps to the front porch.
Halfway up the steps I turn, and Austin stops a few stairs below me. I lean forward, resting my arms on his shoulders, crossing them at the wrist behind his neck. I smirk, then give him a quick peck on the lips before winking and turning back around.
“It does run in the family,” I say with a shrug of my shoulders.
Austin grabs Grace’s hand and follows me inside our new home. It’s time for happily ever after.
