Boy was I right.

Four more thrusts over that spot inside me that was physically reaching for him every time he pulled away, and I came undone. Loud cries tore from my throat, moans and groans weaving their way through me as I lost complete and utter control. Chance dove down and crashed his mouth on mine, his groans vibrating my throat just as much as my own were. Pleasure and pure ecstasy rolled over me, wave after wave.

But even when that was done, it wasn’t over. That knot had spiralled but was already winding itself up again. Chance’s eyes darkened and it was clear he’d felt it too. Shucking my legs up to his shoulders, the angle he found was divine.

He thrust home, deep and fast, the sounds of our skin meeting and our moans filling the room.

“Open your eyes, Sunny,” he demanded softly. “Let me see those eyes.”

His pupils were filling quickly, dilating with the rise in oxytocin. I could only imagine mine were doing the same as the knot wound tighter and tighter.

“Mine,” he muttered, threading his fingers through one of my hands and pinning it above my head. His hand sent three light squeezes through mine.

“Mine,” I replied.

His body went rigid beneath my legs as that knot of tension pulled every string in my body tight. When Chance climaxed, I couldn’t help but follow. My eyes rolled back, though I fought like hell to keep them on the sexiest of sights in front of me. He pulsed and writhed beneath my legs, letting out matching curses to my own. My back arched as his began to, melding out bodies even closer together.

Chance’s mouth, still panting heavily, moved to my neck, peppering kisses up, down, around; everywhere.

“Mine,” he muttered into my collarbone.

“Mine,” I whispered breathlessly in his ear.

Chapter 36

Mari

“You have a fantastic marketing tool right here on your team—”

I’d stopped listening to the networking team Chance’s agent had sent us.

Unfortunately, sitting in the now cramped office space of my own gym whilst a bunch of guys in suits tried to sell me on a crappy marketing deal was not how I wanted to spend my morning.

Images of earlier this morning flooded my mind. Of the far, farpreferable alternative.

“Mmmm, no,” Chance grumbled in my ear, grazing his teeth up the lobe. “I’ve decided today is cancelled. We’re staying here.”

I laughed, rolling onto my other side to meet his sleepy, peaceful gaze. His arms stayed tight around my waist, refusing to lose contact. It made my stupidly-happy-and-in-love smile grow even more.

“Unfortunately—” I pressed a soft kiss to the tip of his nose. “I’m gonna have to burst your bubble there—”

“No,” he said, pulling me in even closer.

“Chance—”

“No.”

“We have that—”

“No.” He sighed, as if he didn’t have a care in the world. A soft smile tilted his mouth upwards, and he closed his eyes once again.

“Okay. You need to let me up.” I tried. I really did try hard to get his grip to break, to loosen an inch so I could slip out.

But it didn’t.Every grip-breaking technique I could think of, even tickling him. But of course, a man as hot as him wouldn’t be ticklish.

“Stay with me, Sunny,” he mumbled. Thatgoddamn sexy morning voice. “Just stay with me, right here.”

“Five more minutes.”
