She pressed herself tighter against him, and he inhaled the sharp scent of her sweat and the sweet smell of the previous night’s activities. He could never explain to non-wolves how the odors that might seem gross to humans were always the best to the wolf nose. He wanted to bury his face in her pussy again—make her moan and shake and scream his name.

“Love, let me home as you found me,” he crooned, finally remembering the chorus. He pressed his lips to her shoulder, only half regretting the bite. It was probably wrong, but he liked that it marked her as his.

She turned into him, her lips seeking his. That was good. Whatever else had gone down last night, she wasn’t mad at him if she was willing to go for round two. Or five. Or whatever this was.

I need you here with me.

That was what she had said when he had turned. The memory surfaced as her hand caressed his chest. She had been scared of letting him outside, but she hadn’t been scared of him. That was… impressive. He felt like he’d gotten lucky on so many levels. He’d agreed to take her to Oregon. He wondered if he could talk her into sticking around longer than that. She was human, so he couldn’t ask for more than a little bit of time. Humans were so impermanent and gone so fast. But he couldn’t help thinking what it would be like to have her in summer, in the green meadow behind his cabin, her hair dotted with poppies. He had a fleeting thought of his father and his dream of reuniting with his old pack, but he pushed it away. He could think about that later when he wasn’t naked with Azure.

He let his hands slip down her body, exploring her silky skin and curling hair. He was glad she didn’t wax. He didn’t understand the current fad for naked pussy. What was he—a pedophile? Why would he want someone who looked like she was twelve?

She moaned softly and nibbled on his shoulder as he kissed her neck. She adjusted her legs underneath him, and he got the hint, sliding between her thighs. He kissed her as he pushed inside her. She was tight and wet and had him groaning in pleasure. He tried to keep the intensity down, aiming for soft and gentle. But her fingernails were starting to dig into his back in a way that made him growl.

The bed swayed as they fucked, creaking and tapping against the wall. The smell of Azure filled up his nostrils, and he bent his head, intending to mark her again. He pulled his head back at the last second. Biting was bad. He needed to concentrate on being human for her.

Azure pushed her face into him and bit his chest, hard and stinging. He let out a growl and thrust into her hard. She let out a half-gasp, half-squeal of pleasure and arched back, opening up to him. He growled again, continuing to go harder.

“Oh fuck, right there, baby,” she gasped, and he grinned. He wasbabynow. He liked beingbaby.Baby meant that he definitely got to do this again. She grabbed the headboard to give him more resistance, and he gave her a little more strength in return.

“Oh, fucking yes!” She was panting, and he thrust into her like he wanted to. Forget soft and gentle. She was getting close, her fingernails digging into his shoulders, clawing at him. Her cries synchronized with his thrusts and the banging of the headboard against the wall.

“Yes, yes, yes! Oh, goddess, yes!”

She came, and he came right afterward, that tight little pussy milking him dry. He lay in the tight circle of her arms and legs with the blissful feeling of perfect contentment. She made adorable growly noises of happiness while putting love bites down his neck and shoulders, and he decided that he would never move again. He would just stay right here forever.

“Good morning, beautiful,” he said when she turned her face up to his. Her smile was angelic as he kissed her, but her expression changed as she pulled back.

“Morning?” she squeaked.

She struggled to sit up, shoving him off of her, and looked around the room.

“Yeah?” he offered, unsure about why she was upset.

She scrambled off the bed and flung herself down on the floor to where her map still lay from the night before.

“We need to go!” she gasped, pointing at the map where large clusters of red dots had formed during the night. “Right now.”

Episode 7

The Plan

Azure

Azure sat on the back of Rafe’s bike, studying the map, and waiting for him to finish checking out. The bike was black with a white star painted on the side. It was glossy, sexy, and well-cared for. The second sight seemed to think she might ride it naked at some point. That sounded exciting. Common sense said it sounded like a bad idea. But Azure told her sensible self to hush since it was only the nebulous nudge of maybe, and she was rather enjoying the fantasy. The second sight had also informed her that the clerk at the desk was going to ban them from the hotel for being too damn loud all night long, so she’d sent Rafe to finish the check-out process. She didn’t see any need to subject herself to that.

Rafe finally came back out. His face was a picture, and she thought he might have been blushing behind his beard.

“Well, we’re never coming back here,” he said.

“Yes, I know,” said Azure, without looking up. “I’m trying to decide if being banned for life from a shitty motel is something to brag about or not.”

He snorted.

“OK, well, aside from our troubles with management,” Azure continued, “the actual bad news is that I don’t know how to get us out of here.”

She put the map down on his seat and held out the sides so he could see all the ominous red dots. He leaned down and scrutinized the map, scratching his chin through his beard. Now that she knew what he was, she couldn’t believe she hadn’t seen it immediately. She’d dated some non-humans before, and there had been her never-to-be-revealed high-school liaison with a vampire old enough to be her great grandfather. She had known that would end badly, but she had done it anyway because even second sight and common sense sometimes can’t beat scorching hot sex. She couldn’t help wondering if Rafe was going to fall into that category. She tried never to consciously look at her own future because looking could cause her to change it, which would then lead to some weird paradoxes and a migraine that would leave her incapacitated for at least three days. But the itch to look was growing. Rafe seemed about as trustworthy as a ten-year-old strapless bra. Was he going to leave her trying to hold everything up on her own?

“We’ll go down this way,” he said, pointing to the map. “There’s a mess of back roads and track back there. I bet we can sneak past this clump here, and then we’ll be olly-olly-oxen free for Oregon.”
