“Great,” he said, stumbling from the bed and into the bathroom. He came back out and leaned against the desk with her, stealing grapes out of her hand as she picked them up.

“You are going to get that checked out, aren’t you?” she asked, running grape-cooled fingers over the goose egg on the back of his head.

“Yeah, I’ve got a guy.”

“A guy? You leave your medical care toa guy?”

“A doctor guy. He deals with all of my fighting-related injuries, since I’m pretty sure the GP I go to would just rat me out to Grandma.”

“Oh.” She leaned over and gently kissed his bump, then nibbled his ear. He turned his face down to catch her lips and kissed her.

“Mmm,” she said, pulling back with a smile. “You make me want to do that all the time.”

“I don’t mind,” he said.

“I would get hungry,” she said. “And at some point, it would get awkward.”

“You’re too practical,” he said. “Where’s the romance?”

She giggled at him.

“I knew you thought I was funny.”

“No, I don’t,” she promptly disagreed. “I have no idea what you’re talking about. You’re distinctly unfunny.”

“Liar,” he said, breathing the word heavily into her ear, and she flinched away, laughing. He moved to be in front of her and dropped kisses like tickle bombs around her neck and she laughed harder, her breasts bouncing against his chest. He looked down at her, sitting on the edge of the desk, legs dangling and a thought occurred to him. “You know,” he said, picking up one of her hands and dropping a kiss on her wrist, “you’re not tied up now.”

“True?” she agreed, looking a little confused at his change in topic. He kissed her neck more seriously this time and began to work his way down. Then he knelt down in front of her and she made a little noise that sounded half-nervous, half-excited.

“So tell me,” he said, kissing along her inner thigh, “how is that fantasy supposed to go?” He reached up and grabbed her by the hips, pulling her to the edge of the desk.

“I think you’ve got the general idea,” she said, her voice fluttering slightly.

He looked up at her as he slowly licked her thigh. She leaned back on her hands as he stroked her with one hand. Her breasts heaved with every touch, her body rocking against his fingers. He finally put his mouth to her, and she gasped his name. He circled her clit with his tongue, and she moaned, grasping his hair with one hand. He slid his finger inside her and she moaned something in Chinese. He tried not to smile, knowing that would throw off the rhythm, but if she had switched to Chinese, he knew he was close. He found the spot on her clit that seemed to get the largest reaction and then circled, driving into it with his tongue.

She repeated his name and clutched at his hair in the same rhythm that he touched her. Her breathing became ragged and she said something with his name in it and then came with a final, body-shuddering gasp.

He looked up at her and found her staring down at him with a beautifully stupefied expression. He stood up and popped a grape in his mouth.

“So… like that, more or less?”

She let out a warm purring groan. “Yes, exactly like that.”

He laughed and pulled her off the desk and they tumbled back into the bed. “I can’t stay Aiden,” she said as he wrapped his arms around her and prepared to snuggle back to sleep. “I have to be back home before Uncle gets up.”

Aiden felt a leaden sense of disappointment.

“How long do we have?” he asked.

“I have to be back before six.”

“Then we’ve got a little bit of time,” he said, and he held her tighter.

Ella – Home Again

Ella stood on the corner across from the building that was the temporary home of the Zhao family and tried to make herself let go of Aiden’s hand. Dawn was a soft light behind some buildings, painting everything in the eerie glow of a black and white movie. The October air was cold, and she shivered. Aiden suddenly pulled her around and hugged her tightly.
