His breath hitched, and I stared into his beautiful gold-rimmed eyes for a moment, realizing that I didn't spend enough time kissing him, not like I wanted to. I leaned forward, breathing in his delicious, musky scent.

"Can I kiss you?" I whispered. "I've been thinking about it ever since that kiss on the beach. But you and I spend most of our time kissing Mira."

He stared at me for a beat before he lunged at me, slamming his lips into mine, burying his hands in my hair. I moaned as I backed him into the counter, devouring him with an aggression I couldn't use with Mira. He gave as good as he got, nipping at my bottom lip, his tongue doing battle with mine as he moaned into my mouth.

I trailed kisses down the nape of his neck, making him shiver in my arms. "Fuck, Gunnar. I had no idea."

"I know you're in love with her, but I'm going to take this time alone to prove to you that we fit, too," I said, sucking a hickey into his neck. "Understood?"

"Yeah."

I nipped at his ear, then lifted my head, staring into his eyes. "I want you to fucking dominate me, baby."

He smirked, looking at the way I had him pinned against the counter. "You have a funny way of showing it."

"Don't worry. After dinner, I'll be naked, on my knees, and at your mercy," I said, stepping back, and turning back to the pasta I was cooking.

"After dinner?" he whined, making me smile. He shot me one last pouty look before moving to the side counter, where he resumed chopping vegetables for a salad, but then he suddenly noticed something and hurriedly reached for the oven. "Shit, the bread!"

The scent of garlic filled the kitchen as Colby pulled a tray of toasted, buttered bread from the oven. I studied his movements, admiring the way his muscles flexed beneath his skin.

"Looks like you almost burnt that garlic bread," I teased him, pointing at the dark edges.

"It looks good to me. And you should watch it, big man," he warned playfully. "If you keep teasing, I'll be forced to punish you."

"Is that a promise?" I asked, my cock twitching.

Colby didn't hesitate. He shoved me against the counter, pressing his body against mine as his hand came down hard on my ass. I groaned in surprise and arousal, feeling the sting of his palm against my flesh. I begged for more, needing to feel the heat of his touch again.

"Greedy bastard," he said before sucking on my neck, leaving a mark that would surely be visible later. "But you said after dinner."

My teasing had come back and bit me in the ass way faster than I expected.

"Hey, Gunnar! Colby!" Wanda's voice interrupted our moment, and we sprang apart. We exchanged glances, wondering how much she had seen or heard.

"Grandma!" I was trying to play it cool, but my voice sounded squeaky and weird. "You're early?"

Wanda didn't seem to notice our flushed faces or disheveled clothes. "Daisy and I just got back from our trike motorcycle ride up to Portland," she said. "To meet some of the OnlyGrans ladies. And once I got home, I figured there was no use in waiting, since you were cooking." She sat on a stool at the breakfast bar and started eating the cheese that was meant to be in the pasta, launching into a story about the 'hot guys' she and Daisy had met on their ride. And considering both women were in their 70s, I was having a hard time picturing the men as she described them.

As she finished up her story, my brother wandered in, and I hugged him hello, ignoring the surge of irritation that I was going to have to wait even longer to fuck Colby.

"So hungry," Jay said by way of a greeting, grabbing a beer from the fridge. "Smells good in here."

"Thanks," Colby said, his cheeks pink. "Just about ready to eat."

The scent of garlic bread and roasted vegetables filled the kitchen as we sat down for dinner. Wanda chatted about her motorcycle trip while Jay chimed in with his own stories from the shop. I tried to focus on their conversation, but my attention kept drifting back to Colby. His warmth beside me was both a comfort and a maddening temptation. I scooted my chair a little closer to his, so our thighs pressed together.

As we ate, I couldn't resist reaching under the table to play with Colby's hand, stroking his fingers with mine while keeping acasual smile on my face. The rush of our secret touches fueled my desire. I caught Wanda's eyes on me, and she nodded.

"You don't have to hide it. I ran into Colby and Mira at the store, and it was obvious," she said, a sparkle of mischief in her eyes.

I blinked. "Obvious?"

"Only to me," Wanda said with a laugh.

"And me," Jay added. "He's been all spacy at the shop — forgetful and a little nervous. It was the same way he acted when he met Mira."

"I have not!" I scoffed, my eyes sliding over to Colby, who blushed and ducked his chin.
