“VAL!” I scream for her and point at the door still ajar.

“What the fuck,” She pushes past me and gasps when she opens the door.

“Um, Gen. You need to see this.” My body is shaking so bad I can’t move my feet.

“I think you might have a stalker.” She points at a bottle with my white satin ribbon tied around it.

“Is that booze?” I finally ask, trying to figure out where the bottle is from, where I haven’t moved.

“No, Gen. It’s lube.” No, I couldn’t have heard that right.

“Excuse me?” Val let out a maniacal laugh.

“You’re mystery man has one sick fucking sense of humor. He’s gifting you lube cause you’re tight. It’s romantically sick, actually.” I snatch the bottle from her in disbelief.

Now that I’m holding it up close, I realize it’s not just lube. The bottle itself is shaped like a penis so that you can masturbate with it. I flip it over, ready to throw it in the trash, when I see the small note Val missed tied to the back.

I rop it off and unfold it.

“This should help,” I read out loud as I drop the surprisingly heavy bottle to the floor.

“Sick fuck.” I hiss.

Val gets a garbage bag and removes the little gift, and then helps me jam a chair under the door handle to the roof entrance.

“You want my bat or the gun?” She asks before I turn in to bed for the night.

We stayed up as late as possible, but we both have a morning class we can’t miss, and I bite my lip at her question.

“Can I sleep in your room?” Val smiles softly at me.

“Grab your pillow.”

Thursday

“I think I aced that test.”Val beams at me over the rim of her coffee cup as we sit at a local cafe on campus.

How she’s so awake is beyond me. I slept well, considering, but I still woke up exhausted from the shit yesterday. She’s been talking my ear off about the exam and now the party that the sorority house is prepping for tonight. I’d almost forgotten.

Maybe she’ll let me out of it?

“Don’t even think about it. A party is exactly what you need to fucking relax.” I roll my eyes, knowing I shouldn’t have even bothered.

“Fine,” I mumble as I take a bite from my donut and then almost choke on it when I see the mystery biker across the street.

“Jesus, are you okay? Here, drink some water.” She tries to shove her glass into my hands, but I’m too busy trying to breathe and signal her to look outside.

“Val, he’s here.” I cough to clear my airway more and point out the window.

“That fucker.” Val stands and storms to the door.

I grab my stuff to chase after her.

“HEY!” She screams at the guy as she starts crossing the street with no regard for her well-being.
