I had no clue that dirty talking did it for me.
Truthfully, I always thought it was kind of cringey because who, exactly, lost control like that to the point of letting such filth fall from their lips?
But the way that my orgasm was still going, and the way that he was so tensed surrounding me…there was no control on either of our ends.
The things that I said and did…the things he said and did…yeah. I would feel embarrassed about the words that followed his.
I would cringe in the dark later as I thought about how I’d let my mouth just fly away.
But that was later.
This was now.
And I would promise this man the world to get him to fuck me again.
Eight
Fuck you this much.

GUNNER
“You have a crow in your backyard watching us,” she whispered breathlessly.
I looked over to see the black bird perched on the fence about ten feet away.
Upon the knowledge that it had our attention, it gave a soft caw and flew away.
“They’re always here.” I swallowed hard. “Kayla gave me a bird feeder for my birthday this year. It’s one of the ones that has a camera in it that you can see the birds when they’re eating. Lottie really got a kick out of watching Kayla’s, so Kayla got me one. The only problem is that the crows are the only ones that found it. Not that I care. I like that they’re here.”
“Interesting. Did you know that crows can recognize individual human faces and share that information with other crows?” she asked.
I smoothed her hair back from her face, then let my head drop onto the cushion behind my head.
“I did not,” I said. “What other crow facts do you know?”
I remembered when she was a kid that she had a thing for befriending crows.
The only reason I remembered it was because I thought it was pretty funny how she’d save her roll from lunch and go out to the schoolyard and feed some birds.
The principal tried to put a stop to it, because he thought that allowing the birds to be fed meant they’d stay when they weren’t wanted. But every lunch, Sutton would save her roll and feed them anyway.
It got to the point where the maintenance people tried to shoo the birds away, but they never strayed far.
I even remembered her getting into trouble for doing it, but then the entire lunchroom had started saving their rolls and feeding the birds.
Eventually, the principal stopped enforcing it, and everyone else went back to eating their rolls but Sutton.
“I know a lot.” She pushed up, using my chest for leverage. “And, I think that we should probably not do that again.”
My brows rose as I smoothed my hand up the length of her side. “Why’s that?”
“Because it was a mistake, and things will get complicated if I decide to move in here with you.” She started to pull away, but I stopped her before she could move too far.
“No,” I said. “Leave me in.”
She blinked. “But why?”
