I had not planned for this. Her in a wedding dress? Never, even in my wildest dreams.
However, I couldn’t let this chance go.
The thought of her infuriated, tied up, and wearing a white dress that shows off more than it hides has a certain appeal.
Her skin is visible through the lace, making me want to mark every inch of it.
Not because I want her, but because I want to keep her enraged. Maybe then she’ll make mistakes, get sloppy, and start telling me things she never wanted me to know.
Things that I can use against the Rinaldos to take them down once and for all.
Things have been flammable at best at home because no one understands all I do, all I’ve ever done, is to keep them safe. And if they find out about what I’m doing to Zoe, the resulting inferno will burn our family to the ground.
But for now, I’ll enjoy my two minutes of messing with her mind.
“Let’s get this show on the road,” I say to the captain, ignoring the packages and boxes holding guns and drugs from the Rinaldos’ latest shipment being carried past us. “She’s going to wake up soon.”
He sighs. “I don’t know about this. I’m already risking my life by allowing you to steal from her. I can’t even imagine what she’ll do to my family if I do this.”
“I keep my word.” I grin as her eyes start to open, and she moves against the rope. “Now, say your line.”
“Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, until death do you part?”
“I do.”
“And do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, until death do you part?”
I smirk and crouch down in front of Zoe as she is just now opening her eyes, still groggy from the hit to the head.
I reach up and touch the bruise, the corner of my mouth twitching when she tries to kick me, only to find that her legs are bound close to her body.
I whisper so only she can hear, “I bet you want to hurt me right now.”
She thrashes again. “I do.”
I look over my shoulder at the captain, smiling. “Thank you so much for officiating our marriage.”
He nods, eyes focused on her.
Zoe’s eyes widen as she looks between me and the captain before finally looking down at what she’s wearing. “What. The. Actual. Fuck. What the fuck. What the fuck.”
I run my fingers over the lace of the dress just over her breasts. “This is a very nice dress on you. And I know how much you love to show off that tight little body of yours.”
Snow starts falling around us.
She seethes, looking like she’s seconds away from chewing herself out of the ropes and throwing herself at me. However, she’s not going to get very far.
Shame. I could use a good fight.
Zoe stops thrashing and glares at me, shivering slightly, probably from the cold. “I don’t know what you think you’re doing, you dick-juggling thundercunt, but you better let me go right now so I can kill you! Both of you!”
“Aw, such a sweet wife.” I take her chin in my hand, squishing her cheeks. “I just love it when you talk dirty to me, baby. Now, shut up and let me handle business. Otherwise, I’m going to cut out your tongue.”
Her jaw snaps shut, and she studies me like she’s not sure if I’m serious or not.
When it comes to her, I’m always serious, though. Even if she doesn’t believe it.
I have been working on this heist since we started sleeping together, and now it’s finally time. Too many months of waiting have gone by for this moment. The fake wedding was just a bonus for me.
