“I got all packed up this afternoon. I’ve been ready to go forhours,” she rolls her eyes as she draws out the word hours.

“You’re asking for another spanking, Sunshine.”

“Oh no…” she says with a shocked look on her face and sarcasm dripping from her words. “Whatever will I do?”

I growl and move quickly in my attempt to give her a smack on the ass, but she scurries into the bathroom. She’s laughing wildly when I reach her in the bathroom. She spins around to circle her arms around my neck and surprises me when she kisses me hard.

All I can think of right now, is how natural it feels to be around her.

How happy she makes me.

I’m pretty sure I’m falling in love with her.

After the greatest sex of my entire life, Thomas joined me in the shower for another round. I’m almost positive he gave me six orgasms before we even left. We got to the shore house late and that’s why I ended up sleeping most of the drive last night.

Something shifted between us the second he got home from work.He wants me. He finally admitted to me. I won’t lie and say that I don’t want him, but there’s a lot we have to talk about when this weekend is over. I keep thinking, what am I going to do about work? I can’t continue to be his son’s nanny with this insane wage. I would feel like he’s paying me to be his girlfriend. It’s just weird, so I need to discuss what we’re doing here with him when we get back to the city.

Earlier today, Gigi arrived with Kali and Avery. A few hours later, his brother Marc and best friend Logan showed up with Emiline and James not too far behind them. Gigi was introduced to everyone. Her and Thomas hit it off right away, just like I knew they would. He spent most of the day close to her. Almost like he was afraid to leave her alone for two minutes. Made my heart swoon how much he loves her already.

Thomas warned me that his mom would be here this weekend, but she wasn’t here when we arrived. I’m not sure I am ready to meet his mom. Because, you know… I’m still the nanny.

“What’s on your mind over there, Sunshine?” Thomas breaks me from my trance. I’m sitting on the screened in porch with a view of the ocean, next to the heater, while reading one of my smutty romance novels. Considering it’s late November, it’s the perfect temperature to curl under a blanket with a gorgeous view of the sun setting around me.

“Nothing,” I admit with a small smile.

Thomas just nods and takes a seat next to me. He lifts the blanket, and our legs connect as he sits so close to me. He wraps an arm around me and presses the most delicate kiss to the side of my head before whispering, “Get out of your head, baby.” My head tilts up so that our eyes meet. “I meant what I said last night. I want to give this a shot with you. I have no idea what I’m doing but I know that I’m crazy about you, Peyton.”

A soft smile forms on my face as his stare burns deep into me. “I’m crazy about you too,” I admit. Because I am. I’m falling so hard for him. “I just think we have a lot to talk about.”

“I know, Sunshine. I know.” He places another soft kiss to the side of my head and shivers run down my spine. “When we get back to the city, we will talk everything through. But for now, Gigi has whipped out a deck ofCards Against Humanityand wants us all to play now that dinner is cleaned up.” He laughs.

“She did not bring that with her!” I exclaim as shock takes over my face. “She’s such a dirty bird.”

“Oh, she did.” He laughs. “Everyone is already in the kitchen getting ready to play. Let’s go, baby.”

Once we’re in the kitchen, we each pour our favorite drinks. The boys are drinking whiskey and the girls are drinking tequila and lime. Gigi opted to not drink tonight despite her love for wine. She says it makes her extra tired with her medication.

“Okay, do we all know how to play?” Gigi announces as she shuffles the cards and begins to pass everyone their starting hand.

“Yes, Ma’am,” Logan answers for all of us as he rubs his hands together like he’s ready to dominate this game.

“Relax, Logy,” Emiline says as she rolls her eyes. “It’s not that serious and you’re going to lose anyway.”

“I never lose, Em,” he says, facing her with a wink and she rolls her eyes again.

“Peyton,” Gigi announces. “You’re up first to pick from the deck. Read it out loud and then we will all look at our cards and put them in the center. Then you can pick your favorite and whoever played that card is the winner of that round.”

I pull a card from the deck in the middle of the table and begin to read it out loud, “A successful job interview begins with a firm handshake and ends withblank.”

“Oh fuck.” Avery laughs as she picks through her cards. “I have a good one.”

“You can’t beat mine, Princess.” Marc chuckles in his seat.

“I’m blowing all you bitches away.” Gigi laughs and everyone's eyes shoot to her with shocked looks on their face. “What?” She laughs. “I’m a pro at this game. You’re all going down.” With that, we all let out a full belly laugh, tipping our heads back.

You see, this is the Gigi I already know. Half of the people at this table don’t understand her sense of humor yet, but they are about to find out that she’s the funniest lady in my life. She has her mind stuck in the gutter ninety percent of the time and she lives like she’s still in her twenties.

I shake my head as everyone comes down from their laughter. “That’s Gigi for you.”
