“You have no idea what you do to me, do you?”

Our eyes are locked together, and I lean in.

“You have taken every broken and jagged piece of my heart and glued it back together with your love. You have claimed every part of me, and I have never been more willing to let you have all of it.”

Her lips part, and her eyes water.

She grabs my wrist and tugs me down. Then she kisses me deeply, consuming every dark part of my soul. I drop to my knees in front of her, ignoring the rug burn from the carpet, and kiss her belly down to her thighs. She leans back with her hands behind her back. I lift each of her legs over my shoulders and drop my head between her legs. Her hips jolt, and she grips onto my hair.

“Kai,” she whimpers.

I look up at her. “One day, I’ll make you beg, but I’m far too hungry to make myself wait.”

Her teeth grab her lower lip, and I lave my tongue over her, curling my fingers. She moans and lifts her hips again.

“Don’t stop,” she cries. I growl into her, and her thighs tighten around my ears as I move my hand faster until she’s screaming and pulling my hair so hard it feels like it’s going to be ripped from my skull. I slow down and lean back as she takes deep, gulping breaths. I kiss each of her legs before setting them back down.

I throw myself next to her, and she turns, tucking herself into my side. We’re so close our noses brush with every breath. I drag the tip of my tongue across her lips, and she nips at me before our mouths crash together, the two of us drinking in every drop of the love that so freely flows between us. Scooting myself up to the headboard, I lean against it, beckoning for her to sit on my lap. She manages to crawl to me on her hands and knees, and I groan at the sight. She looks away shyly as she sits on top of me, and we’re so close. I brush her center, and it sends a jolt through me as our lips meet again in a gentler kiss.

When she pulls away so we can inhale precious oxygen, she looks me in the eye and says, “When I’m not eight months pregnant, I can’t wait for you to break my back.” She grins as my chest shakes with silent laughter.

I grab her hips. “Well, in the meantime, we can try to break the headboard instead. It will give me the opportunity to build your next favorite piece of furniture.”

She giggles and kisses me before lifting herself up with my help. I line us up, and her legs shake as she sinks onto me, sighing.

“Come on, baby,” I whisper between kissing her face and lips. “Hold the headboard.”

Her hips circle, and I help her move as she rolls herself against me. I lean back, giving her stomach space so she can lean forward and grab the wood.

My pulse slams against my skin as I help my wife run to the peak and lift my knees behind her to support her back as I drive up my hips. Her mouth opens as she throws her head back on a long moan. Her hair is so long it tickles my shins, making me shudder as I savor the connection between us.

It’s slow, heady, and full of so much love it makes my chest physically hurt. She lifts her head, locking her eyes to mine. “Esa es mi chica,”that’s my girl,I moan.

She looks down at me as her hair falls over her shoulders. Her mouth curves into a smile before she leans in, kissing me again. She bites her lower lip, scrunching her face, and I curse as she rolls her hips.

“I can’t,” she gasps.

I slowly continue thrusting my hips up into hers, and she whimpers again.

“You can, gem. You can,” I encourage her.

A look of determination comes over her face as she quickens her pace, and I grip her hips so tightly I’m sure I’ll leave bruises. I curse as I look up at her.

“Yes, baby,” I groan.

She shouts my name, and I lift up, latch my teeth onto her nipple, and bite down. She moans, then stills, every muscle in her body tightening as she cries out in ecstasy. I let go of the thin control I have as we vault ourselves over the edge together.

She slows, still holding onto the headboard, and her lips are parted as she tries to catch her breath. “That was…” she gasps and takes a few more deep breaths.

“Yeah.” I sigh, rubbing my hands over her belly soothingly and looking up at her as she gazes down at me. She finally releases the headboard and leans back, still straddling me. Her hands rest over mine as I stare at her belly. This little guy changed everything for us. “I know I’ve already said this, but you are beautiful pregnant. I mean, you always have been beautiful, but damn.”

She giggles and plays with my hair. “I believe that’s called a post-sex glow.”

“Nah, it’s more than that,” I rasp. My skin feels overly hot as I look up at her, nothing short of overwhelmed.

“You’re right, it is. But it’s because it’s you, Kai.”

“I know I’m good, but all this—“ I say, gesturing to her face, ”—is not just me.”
