I grunt with exertion, feeling that flicker at the base of my spine. The chair groans again and then suddenly we’re falling. Aelia gasps and I land with myback against the chair. It takes her a second, then she’s laughing and moaning at the same time. I grin up at her as she giggles, then I push up, and her laughter turns to whimpers.
Ignoring the fact we broke the chair, I refocus on Aelia. Holding her to me, I flip us in the narrow space. Her thighs squeeze my hips and I grab her leg, setting it over my shoulder. The new position sends pleasing shudders down my spine and I swear Aelia blacks out for a second. I lean in, stretching her leg back and she babbles incoherently.
I nip her ear, breathing harshly causing her to shiver. “Merde, ça fait tellement de bien, Aelia,” I whisper in her ear.
Her eyes spring open. “What did you say?” she gasps.
“You feel so good.”
She whimpers and words flow from my lips like a river. “Tu m’as toujours été destinée,” I grunt out.You were always meant to be mine, there is no one else my love.
“Tell me,” she gasps.
I scramble for words trying to keep my brain from losing the ability to form words.
Aelia cries out, arching her back and I know she’s almost there. “Tell me,” she groans loudly.
“You’re doing so good for me, princess,” I mumble.
She moans and I relish the way her skin feels against mine and the pleasing warmth that radiates from her. I don’t think I can ever get enough.
Leaning back, she gasps in surprise as her leg slides over my shoulder to the crook of my elbow and I lift her hips up to hold her with one hand and brace myself with the other. I let go, cutting my restraints, giving her every bit of me. It’s all she can do to hold on to one of the slats of the chair as she watches while her stomach clenches with every movement, and it sends shocks over my skin.
Grunting with exertion, she tries to hold her whimpers in and I lean forward more, bending her up. “Let me hear it, Aelia. Let the whole worldhear it,” I tell her.
Her lips burst open and she fills the air, crying out to the sky. I pant, trying to keep my pace and balance us on the wood, as I press my palm on her lower stomach. Her eyes widen, her muscles tense so tightly I’m afraid she might snap and then she explodes. That beautiful back arches impossibly high and I follow right behind her as we drown in each other in an endless embrace.
My arms weaken and I gulp in deep breaths as we still. I move to lift myself off of her, but her ankles lock at my back and she gathers my face to hers. Soft lips and small gasps pass between us as she kisses me. It does funny things to my heart as I stroke my tongue against hers. Aelia puts her whole self into the kiss as I devour her.
She pulls away with swollen lips and flushed cheeks. “Where did you come from?” she asks, rubbing her thumb on the other side of my jaw.
I don’t have words to answer her because I don’t know, and it’s like knives stabbing my gut as reality brings us back down to Earth.
I found my one, the one I never thought existed because I was destined to be alone. So I kiss her instead and hope she understands.

We arrive in ElSalvador with less than three days left before the competition starts because of time changes and layovers. I roll our bags and carry my board to the exit as Aelia taps away on her phone, walking with me. We’re both exhausted because we’ve been up for a while.
I need to get back on my schedule, get a few workouts in, find out more about the Colombian operation, and win this leg of the championship. I need to be on my A-game, and that means a ton of sleep. Which is hard when my temporary girlfriend is sleeping next to me because she’s the only thing I want to pay attention to. Part of me wants to toss the rest of it to the side and see if she wants to disappear into the sunset…leave it all behind.
We exit the main airport area and I look around for a taxi to take us to the resort. I got us a private villa at a resort that sits right on the beach similar to what we stayed at in Bali. I also ordered a motorcycle from one of the dealers in the area. I’m tired of driving cars and figured it would be more fun to ride a motorcycle. There are hangers for surfboards, so it should work. If not, I’ll get a car. A taxi pulls up a few steps down the road from us. “Come on, princess, your chariot awaits.”
She rolls her eyes and follows behind with both of our backpacks on her shoulders. “I like that you call me princess, but not sarcastically, you ass.”
I grin at her over my shoulder and wink. “Ooo, sassy. I like it.”
She looks away, trying to hide her smile. I open the trunk to the cab hauling our bags in and then try to figure out how to get my board in the car. I reach for the other suitcase and see Aelia walk over to some kids that look like they’re trying to sell hand woven bags or baskets and hands them a hundred dollar USbill. The young boy holds it in his hands like it’s too good to be true. He picks up a bag trying to give it to her, but she says no. He frowns and gives her a pair of silver earrings. She takes them smiling and nods. Her lips mouth thank you then she walks back towards me. I glance at the kids and their smiles are so wide the exchange makes my heart feel like it’s bursting.
She smiles at me and I stare at her for a moment, taken back by her generosity. This woman is so much more than what she allows others to see. I wink at her and go back to figuring out how to get my board in the car.
The driver looks at me like there’s no way I’ll fit it. Oh, it will fit.
“Looks like you’re riding on me, princess,” I quip.
She frowns and opens her mouth, likely to ask me what I mean. Then I grab my board, angle it in the back seat and pull the front seat up as far as I can, leaving enough room for Aelia and me. Once it’s in, I bracket it with our backpacks so it doesn’t wiggle around. The tip sits out of the window, I just have to pray that no one gets to close or I’ll be screwed. I don’t exactly carry two boards with me.
