Sighing, I pulled the material I was sewing out from underneath theneedle. For the third time in a row, the line I’d stitched was wonky, and I was going to have to redo it. My concentration was lacking because all I could think about was how desperately I wanted Nash to let me climax.

Standing from the chair, I turned, intending to get some new materialwhen I froze at seeing Nash leaning against the doorframe watching me.

I had no idea how long he’d been there.

“You’re home early,” I said, swallowing the nerves building in mythroat from the intense heat in his silvery-gray eyes.

His lips twitched into a small smile. “The deal with the casino inSingapore collapsed. I decided to take the afternoon off.”

“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that,” I said, still rooted to the spot.

Nash straightened, but he didn’t take a step further into the room.“Fox and I pulled out; the deal wasn’t right. We’ll find something else,” he said, shrugging.

We stared at each other for a few seconds, the air around uscharging with tension before Nash crooked his finger. “Come here, sweetheart.”

Dropping the ruined material on the table, I obeyed his command, crossing the room to stand before him. Gently, he grabbed my chin between his thumb and finger, holding me still.

“Are you ready for your punishment to end?”

A thrill of excitement shot through me, my core clenching inanticipation.

“Yes,” I replied in a breathy whisper.

The smile on his face grew into a cocky smirk. “I thought so. Comewith me.”

He dropped my chin and walked away. I didn’t hesitate to follow, morethan done with being tortured, even if a little part of me knew the worst was yet to come.

I didn’t care as long as Nash put me out of my misery.

I followed him through the house, admiring his ass in his tight pants.Despite now knowing the truth about how Nash had manipulated situations to get me where he wanted me, I couldn’t deny how I felt for him.

I loved him with every little part of me.

Sure, to an outsider looking in, he could be taken for a controlling, manipulative asshole who had stalked me, and I wasn’t denying that he was all these things.

But he wasmycontrolling, manipulative asshole, and I wouldn’t havechanged him for the world.

When I ran to Liam, I regretted it. I was acting in shock as opposed torational thought, and when Nash kicked the door down and strolled into the motel room like he owned the place, a sense of relief and gratitude swamped me.

Yes, it was followed by heartache, betrayal, and anger, but it wasn’t atNash. It was at Liam. Liam ruined us because of his greed. But I meant what I said to Nash. In a weird way, I was glad Liam had ruined our relationship, because it meant I got to fall in love with Nash, and what we had was a million times stronger than what Liam and I ever had.

Nash opened the bedroom door and waved a hand for me to go in. Idid as instructed, and he followed, closing the door behind us with an ominous thud.

I turned to face him, and his heated eyes raked over my body as heloosened his tie.

“Take your clothes off,” he commanded, his tone stern.

I held his eye as I lifted my shirt over my head before tossing it on thefloor. When I reached around to unclasp my bra and pull it off, Nash’s gaze fell to my taut nipples.

Slowly, I lowered my leggings and panties, shimmying out of themand kicking them away to leave me standing bare before Nash.

An appreciative grumble left his throat as his tongue came out to wethis lips. I hoped like mad his tongue was going to bring me the reprieval I so badly needed.

“Now undress me,” Nash said, taking a step forward.

Again, I didn’t hesitate to obey. In fact, I hadn’t disobeyed him oncesince returning from the motel.

Swaying my hips seductively as I stepped towards him, I started byundoing his shirt, making sure to caress his tattooed skin with my fingers as the material came away.
