But he was doing the same to me, and our bodies were reacting. The feedback loop of feeling every sensation from both sides was like pouring an accelerant on our arousal. We wereclose to coming within minutes. Ellis let his head fall forward onto my shoulder and groaned, “Shane.”

I pressed myself flush with his body and snaked my soapy hand between us. We both gasped when I took our cocks in my grip and slowly twisted. Our breaths were harsh, echoing off the tile.

Ellis was so close, and I was going to be right behind him. Just one more?—

BANG!

BANG!

Ellis and I jumped. I let go of our cocks and turned the water off.

The banging came again, from the front of the house. Fuck, was someone at the door? At this hour?

“Hey!” a male voice shouted. “I need some help out here!”

“Fuck,” I muttered. We grabbed towels and swiped off the worst of the soap and water.

“One of your Wonders?” Ellis asked. He shook his head. “No, I’d be able to feel it too.”

Then the man screamed.

CAL’S CAMPAIGN COMPENDIUM

DRYAD

Type: Dryad

Class: Wonder

Overview: Tree- and plant-affiliated being who can assume three forms: a human form, a humanoid form with plant characteristics, and an ethereal “tree spirit” form which allows them to enter into a tree or plant itself. Their humanoid form can have brown, green, or mottled skin, and their hair can resemble vines and leaves. In this form they are able at will to produce sharp teeth and defensive thorns across their entire body.

Contrary to popular mythology, dryads are not tied to one tree for life, though some do have preferences for certain trees or tree species.

Skills:

Through the exchange of magic between a dryad and a tree or plant, both receive significant health benefits.

Enable plants to propagate faster and produce higher yields of crops.

Can identify the cause of a plant or tree’s illness at a glance.

Requirements: Dryads must have regular contact with tree or plant life in order to renew and maintain their magic and therefore their lives. Dryads are omnivores, though when eating fruits and vegetables they prefer those that have fallen naturally from the plant/tree and are not harvested.

Enhanced Skills When Bonded: Broader range of magical interaction with plants. The distance varies by individual, but after bonding the dryad no longer has to touch a plant to use it to renew their magic, and they can heal plants from a distance as well.
