Class: Magic Carrier
Overview: District Monitors resonate with a geographical area called a District, where they set up as sort of a point of contact for all the Wonders within that District. They form magical connections with the Wonders and assist them with navigating the mundane world and dealing with any accidental sightings by NPCs. (See also the entry forNon-Player Character.) When a District Monitor retires or is no longer able to carry out their duties, magic carriers with District Monitor traits are encouraged to visit the area. If the District resonates with their magic, the new District Monitor has been found.
Skills:
Heightened senses (smell, sight, hearing)
Ability to create non-permanent connections to Wonders or other magic carriers
Ability to resonate with a geographical area and sense when the boundaries of that area need to change due to population growth/decline
Ability to go into “combat mode”, also sometimes called “hunter mode”, (hyperfocus, ultra-enhanced senses, improved reflexes) when under threat or periods of stress.
Enhanced Skills When Bonded: Can use the connections to sense where a Wonder or magic carrier is geographically and what their current overall emotional state is.
