My balls draw tight. My pace quickens, and I shoot a load all over my stomach and down my hand. Breathing heavily, I keep my eyes closed, my mind basking in the eating of her pussy. Just taking a moment longer before I have to push all thoughts of her aside and get to work.

My cock growing hard again as I imagine sweeping my tongue between her lips, I slowly stroke myself, the cum on my cock nowhere near as good as hers.

The kitchen is understandably tense as my brothers and I all sit around the table come dinner. The meeting I called last night weighs heavily on all of us even though it hasn’t even started.

As Micha walks towards the table with small bowls of middle eastern food for everyone to share, I barely manage to keep my eyes off her. I need to concentrate, need to keep my thoughts focused, and she is already making that damn hard with her mere presence. Looking at her will have me dragging her up to my room and postponing this meeting so I can bend her pretty little ass over and drop down behind her to eat her out.

A mixture of aromas from the various mezze dishes helps keep down the smell of her pussy from rising in my mind. I focus on the tomato dolmas as she heads back for more bowls, Mother helping her too.

“Vinny and Myers both had their heads cut off,” I sign, relaying the information I got from Khalid when he came back this morning, after having spent the night with his girl. His mouth and chin smelled of pussy, was absolutely soaked in it, and even now that smell still lingers as he sits on my right. Jealousy curls in my stomach as I’m reminded that Micha left my bed before I could do the same. Khalid licks his lips, tasting his girl, and I’ve never wanted to stab him more.Focus.

Pulling my focus off him, I look at Talon. “I’ve collected their bodies” –they’re currently lying in the back seat of my car in two black bags– “if you wish to take Vinny into your shadows.” Despite his betrayal, my brother still loved him. Perhaps this will give him a bit of closure.

Talon shakes his head slightly as he starts to open his mouth, but I cut in, “Take your time to think about it.” I turn to Maddox to give him the same option. Myers was the only father he ever knew.

“No,” he says before the first word has even been formed by my hands. “He wanted to kill me. Kill all of us. Fuck that bastard.”

“Then I’ll –”

“May I take him?” Mother asks after she places an empty plate in front of Leno as Micha does the same in front of me. Her eyes are lowered, but she slowly lifts them to mine. “Your father loved him,” she says, her hands shaking. “They deserve to be together.”

“He doesn’t deserve that honor.” Maddox’s movements are sharp and abrupt, clearly signing his displeasure.

“I love you boys more than anything. You know that. But Myers is dead now, and he can’t do any harm in the Plane of Monsters. Please just let me lay him to rest with Caden. He did this for him.” Her hands shake stronger. “Would you not try to honor a dead brother?”

“I wouldn’t turn on the rest of my family,” Talon signs.

“Even if one fell in love with a vampire?” she asks as she turns to him. “Had a hybrid child?”

“That’s different. They’re –”

“Abominations?” she asks softly, her hands still.

His body shakes as his eyes fall to his lap. Talon’s hatred of all vampires is second only to his hatred of hybrids – an opinion shared by almost everyone across the entire Seven Planes. If a mother knows she’s pregnant with one, she’ll often dig it out herself regardless of how far along it is. The father will often kill them both even if he’s the one who impregnated her. And those that are foolish enough to try to carry to term get hunted down while they’re pregnant, and their unborn child is ripped from their bellies to be stoned to death or thrown on a fire.

Hybrids are extremely rare, one in a million chances of being born, made even more so by their premature murders. But this is a thought experiment of Mother’s, and though my opinion of someone doesn’t change just because society tells me it should, I can feel her pain. Myers was the last memory she had of our father.

Their relationship might have been complicated, and she might claim she never loved him, but at the very least, he mattered to her.

“You can have HIM.” I glance at Talon, but his eyes are still down. “And if T doesn’t wish to take Vinny, you can take him too.”

The tension around the table doesn’t ease, but she nods at me as she heads back to the kitchen to join Micha. The flatbread is almost finished baking, its freshness teasing my senses.

“We still need to know what the Death Hunt is doing to the Blood Fangs,” I say, getting to the main reason I called this meeting.

Leno and Krypto, who’s seated in a chair separate to the table, both turn to me. “I haven’t been able to grab Cara yet. I –”

“She’s not to be involved anymore,” I cut in. “A term of Aleric’s for information about Myers.” A pointless endeavor that, given my uncle showed his hand only minutes after the reveal. I wonder if Aleric knew he was about to make his second strike. It would be just like the sly motherfucker to get something from me I didn’t really need to give. But I am a man of my word, so Cara is now off limits. Which means we need to figure out another way to discern what’s going on. “We’re going to grab Cid.”

There’s a heavy moment of silence.

“You’re fucking joking,” my youngest brother blurts, then quickly signs it with his hands. Rudy makes a gesture to tell us all to stop signing, wanting us to discuss things quicker. The table explodes into conversation all at once.

“Antonio won’t let that stand.”

“What’s it fucking matter if they kill the bloodsuckers for us?”
